The connection between AFP antagonism and immunosenescence is pretty compelling here. What stands out is how the mechanisim ties together both cancer prevention and general aging, basically suggesting that these chronic disease arent really separate problems but different manifestations of the same underlying cellular breakdown. I've seen this play out with a couple family members who started taking ivermectin for other reasons and noticed way less frequent infections, felt like their immune systems just woke back up. The idea that p53 dysfunction leads to AFP upregulation which then blocks apoptosis creates a feedback loop that's hard to break without pharmacological intervention.
