You are correct.

Sadly... if enough citizens awakened, we could correct this relatively quickly

Correct, The reality is enough citizens won’t. That is a critical flaw in the human species, and it is a flaw that every successful tyrant and the totalitarian, fully understands and completely exploits.

The furies of hell are awaiting us

"Government, you are my daddy, take care of me."

Stan's avatar

Yes indeed. That is, unfortunately, the attitude of so many people who never really grew up, who to be told, never wanted to grow up. They desperately cling to the notion that somehow “the government “will take the place of their parents. These people are capable of understanding why that could never be. They also can’t seem to wrap their head around the fact that oh yes when the “government “takes care of you you’re not gonna like the outcome.

hard to "like" the comment, but you're correct

Yes, indeed. I know. Every time I write that I do so with great sadness. Unfortunately, I am convinced of its accuracy.

Enough citizens did after 1776. Enough citizens can again.

Except weren’t those citizens against a FOREIGN govt with troops that CAME to America? Today the enemies are IN our own govt and they have armies and weapons of mass destruction available not to mention law fare, unjustly arrested, tried and sentenced.

If we were fighting an actual physical war I’d sign up. We are not. We are fighting against liars with tremendous power.

How do we overpower them??

You don't. You leave them to rot.

The only answer, in my humble opinion is independence of individual states, i.e., Nullification of everything federal and Secession from the tyranny of the swamp ...

https://open.substack.com/pub/doc115/p/yet-another-case-for-peaceful-secession?r=18tk5o&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&comments=true&commentId=62473060

As far as I know, there are at least 7 states with active secession movements, and probably more to come.

Walking away is the only way, best of luck, friend.

Hi Bandit ... I'm not sure where I saw the list, but if memory serves, the ones I recall are Texas, Alaska, New Hampshire, maybe Tennessee, Louisiana and Florida. I'll keep looking. Best of luck, friend ~~ j ~~

This is not 1776. This is 2024. America is populated with degenerate scum.

Stan's avatar

Unfortunately, this is not 1776. Our society has degraded beyond measure compared to what we had in 1776.

Don't be downhearted. It only takes a few patriots to effect change. Only about 10% of Americans fought in the American War of Independence, and of course they won. We need to honor their sacrifices before it's too late.

It was more like 1/3, 1/3, 1/3. I appreciate your point. Unfortunately, we live in an era of vastly degraded people.

Yes, I'm not disagreeing with you; but the situation is not hopeless, yet.

Right on Tirion, never give up, never quit, no matter the "nattering nabobs of negativism" ... Sam Adams said it best, "It does not take a majority to prevail but rather a Tireless, Irate Minority keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."

Best of luck, friend ~~ j ~~

If you believe that is true then it is true. Whether it was 10% or 33% or 90% of population supportive of Independence there was a part who thought the whole thing folly and hopeless, just as you do now.

Stan's avatar

Wrong. It does matter what the rough percentages are, and as you should know, that would be a big difference between if it were say 10% or say 90%.

It’s not a matter of it being “folly and hopeless“, it is definitely a matter of understanding the basic aspect of human nature that allows a lot of people to simply accept whatever is going to happen to them. I’m not one of those, but, it is essential that we understand what we’re up against
