Don't be downhearted. It only takes a few patriots to effect change. Only about 10% of Americans fought in the American War of Independence, and of course they won. We need to honor their sacrifices before it's too late.

Right on Tirion, never give up, never quit, no matter the "nattering nabobs of negativism" ... Sam Adams said it best, "It does not take a majority to prevail but rather a Tireless, Irate Minority keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
If you believe that is true then it is true. Whether it was 10% or 33% or 90% of population supportive of Independence there was a part who thought the whole thing folly and hopeless, just as you do now.
Wrong. It does matter what the rough percentages are, and as you should know, that would be a big difference between if it were say 10% or say 90%.
ItтАЩs not a matter of it being тАЬfolly and hopelessтАЬ, it is definitely a matter of understanding the basic aspect of human nature that allows a lot of people to simply accept whatever is going to happen to them. IтАЩm not one of those, but, it is essential that we understand what weтАЩre up against

It was more like 1/3, 1/3, 1/3. I appreciate your point. Unfortunately, we live in an era of vastly degraded people.
Yes, I'm not disagreeing with you; but the situation is not hopeless, yet.

Unfortunately, IтАЩm afraid it is.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree after all!
