Anyone that has read up, extensively, on historical tyrannies knows what's going on. Common fare here. The problem is that people have plenty of time for all kinds of mindless ventures and sendentary "entertainment," but won't spend an hour a week educating themselves.
Then factor in all the people that work for the government with all of its perks and entitlements, or used to, AHEM, and complain about the growth and scope of the government.
The list goes on, but we live in a society where far too few people are willing to step outside the "comfortable," mindless, entertainment rich, wealth-driven, etc. paradigm in which we live, in the interests of their both current as well as future liberty.
I disagree that Deplorable's see Julian as a Russian spy, in fact I think most people are now seeing just how bad things have gotten and we have a chance this coming Tuesday to make a change (or start to) if the democrats don't cheat their asses off again like 2020.
If you have the time, tell me about MAGA Americans. What are they about? Because, to me, it just seems that they are disenfranchised WHITE people who want to blame segments of society for their unhappy lives. Nothing I've ever heard expressed by them has made sense. And it bothers me that they blindly follow a total fraud and crook that we call Trump. And of course, the rapist, thief, scoundrel that we call Trump created MAGA. Nice. It boggles my mind that 'MAGA Americans' fail to recognize that Trump is a member of the super-wealthy class of robber-barons that have created the mess that defines their misery & fury ! If you paint a dot at the top of a wheel and turn it one revolution, the dot is right back where it started from ! Same for 'Revolution's'. A lot of violence and 'change' happens, but it's really, say goodbye to the old boss, say hello to the new boss. Buckminster Fuller said: 'to change things, create the new model that makes the existing model obsolete'. THIS is the true challenge. Hopefully, we'll manage to get this done... create the 'new model'. Good luck to us all...
MAGA folks keep insisting that the January 6th insurrection was a peaceful demonstration. It really seems that the facts do not support that. Why are 'Oath Keepers', 'Proud Boys' and others incarcerated ?

A strong argument could be made that his biggest failure was actively and ardently promoting lethal and harmful injections.
Either way, he's either in on it all or so absorbed in his own personal interests that he may as well be.
