As discussion of digital IDs, digital currency, vaccine passports, and novel vaccine technology became a daily thing, it was clear where Harari stood in all of this. While I am impressed with the breadth of Harari's knowledge, his abilities as a writer, and his academic credentials, your "technofascist futurist" characterization is right on the money.
In summary, his vision of humanity's future is frightening.
Dr. Zelenko made an interesting point about him: he believes he hates himself bc he is a Jew that can't go to heaven due to his sexual orientation and as such wants to take everyone out with him.
I like that analysis on some weird level. Why is this fucked up individual (based on his world view, not sexuality or being a Jew) having such sway in our collective future?
