As to your last paragraph, I'm right there with you!! I FULLY understand that.
As to Rush, no, this goes WAAAY back, late '90s, early aughts in fact. He made a huge deal about it one day on his show, I tried to get a recording of that particular show within the days following it, including trying to record it delayed elsewhere, but couldn…

As to Rush, no, this goes WAAAY back, late '90s, early aughts in fact. He made a huge deal about it one day on his show, I tried to get a recording of that particular show within the days following it, including trying to record it delayed elsewhere, but couldn't. I'd pay good money for that clip.
He ranted on about going to one of his "super secret meetings," and in the process started touting the TC all giddy with glee. Just before the break he had begun ranting about how great it was. He broke for the break saying "The EIB Network, the network of the Trilateralists."
After the break, LMAO, he was completley subdued. He didn't carry on from where he'd left off, was audibly not the same, and never said another word about where he was going, about the TC, etc.
I'd pay very big money for the phone conversation taht took place during that break. LOL
He was on one list back then, but then the following year I went to look at "last year's list," and he was no longer on it. He did go to his "super secret meeting" though, he probably had Mark Steyn sit in for the week
Rush's background is incredibly dubious as well. He was a radio DJ, I think in Pittsburgh, under a pseudonym of some sort. He was all about himself there as well. If you noticed, his program was primarily about himself.
In fairness, and I could be off, but I don't think that his assistance to the Global Elites/NWO crew was deliberate, I simply think that they used him like they use many people seeking self-acclaim to accomplish their goals with him largely being clueless on it.
Nevertheless, he was HUGE on supporting the *FTAs, which is at the core of the destruction of our economy. Back then he preached how with those, we as Americans would rise to economic prominence individually while the entire world, in essence, served us as Americans. It was blatant lunacy at the time.
Frankly, I began listening to him in '89 and he sounded great. I stopped listening to him shortly after that TC announcement about ten years later. I began having my suspicions about him in the mid-'90s as he began saying things that didn't line up with reality.
He was definitely controlled opposition, but not part of Operation Mockingbird (IMO) however. He's simply the typical narcissistic opportunist, much like Trump, that's quite easy to corral with promises of power and wealth to satisfy their egos.
I just did another search, as I've done hundreds of times over the years, looking for that original clip, and while, once again, I came up empty there, but found this piece, which I hadn't seen 'til now. It brings up several points that I'd also noticed about him.
Thank you so much for your response and for all of the great info. you shared. You know; I think many Conservatives are a little naïve. I think it's because we want to believe the best about people. And I think many other people had reservations about Rush long ago; even if only slight. But we didn't listen to that discernment. I think we feel outnumbered; and want so BADLY to have a voice that is 'on our side'; that we will go along with a lot of 'bad' for the little 'good' that might be mixed with it. sort of like picking up a piece of food (Maybe chocolate!) that's fallen on the ground in the mud; we want it so badly we just rinse the muck and mud off of it and pop it into our mouths. I think 'we' did that with Rush; we did it with Fox news and individuals on that show; we did it with Trump; and probably many others. We need to be a LOT more discerning in what we believe; who we believe, who we 'follow'.
I didn't listen to Rush enough to have heard his talk about the T.C. Though as you wrote, he suddenly and 'mysteriously' STOPPED talking about it within minutes of first mentioning it. Nothing odd there! : )
Thank you for the link as well; and for taking the time to look for that clip. I'll read the article later; but I just glanced at it, it looks good; thank you so much for doing that. I'll share that with people I think will want to know about it. Whew. We have been hoodwinked for such a long, long time. It's time to be a lot more smart about who/what we believe in from now on.

I'm sure that the original segment has been scrubbed from the web. LOL
