Lucky you that you can still do it. Indeed I saw what goes on in so called natural food stores and on the farmer's markets. Same thing as in the stores, only twice the price. I know younger people who did like you do, and admire them for it, because farming is hard work. My yard grows very little because of poor soil, but I use whatever I find. Blackberries, plums, edible greens. Natural and not sprayed. The difference is obvious like you state too - berries are less than half the size of store bought !
I read something of the kind, and I think it is true. Some sorts of packing seems to contain hormone like chemicals that disturb the human hormones. Plus all the hormones in animals, and all the women taking hormones. And now they are promoting transgenderism so yet more hormones !
For a short time I worked as secretary in a cosmetics lab. They were short of people and asked if I could help in the lab. There I saw the safety sheets, and I read some books about the ingredients. That was the end of all beauty products for me.
That study is 100% correct.
None of this is by accident.
That's what we are doing now. Not easy for city folk initially, but it not that difficult once you get into it.
Thanks for your comment.
