Well worth the few minutes it takes to read. Just hoping that 'worth' will not soon be measured in negative social credits. Sharing this with several 'private' F.book groups ... but I noticed that as of yesterday, F.book's algorithm is limiting the number of shares I can make, of course 'to protect their community standards'.

Living in Japan, alas, Fakebook is my only connection with most of my family back in the states. If you can convince them, and a few friends, to use another means of communication, I will gladly follow your gentle advice.
There is a thing called e-mail, you know. I committed FaceBook suici.... strike that. You're in Japan. I committed FaceBook hara kiri ten years ago, and it was like putting down a yoke with two hundred pounds attached to it.
I hear you GI, though it takes at least two to tango. If you knew the likes of my stateside family, you'd understand. On the other hand, though probably heavily siloed and definitely monitored, one can still find like-minded people on Facebook.

Get off of fakebook.
