My husband has Alzheimer’s, dementia, front brain shrinkage. He also had a stroke in his left brain that affects his right brain.

All in all he’s in pretty good shape right now.

I put him on a carnivore diet seven months ago. This one thing has slowed the progression. I’ve also used DMSO. The DMSO helps with his skin picking disorder, he picks his skin till sores appear. The DMSO heals that up quick.

I’ve tried ivermectin. Not tried Fenbendazole.

So far.. The carnivore has helped him the most. I’m on it too.

The carnivore diet essentially reduces sugar intake, which is as per the article.

I wouldn't cut out vegetables and all carbs only eating some complex carbs. MCT oil is also good, one that uses caprylic acid and capric acid and maybe just a tablespoon a day. If you can get Chinese club moss and make tea from that - it contains Huperzine A. - which is in Alzheimer's medication but it doesn't damage the liver and kidneys like the meds.

But the main thing is to try and regulate his nervous system - using the easy neuro exercises on brainbased-wellness.com would be good if he's up for that and/or getting craniosacral therapy from someone who is trained by Stanley Rosenberg

Because he is a recovering alcoholic he stays away from complex carbs.

I’m a recovering sugar addict and he’s a recovering alcoholic.

There is a sugar alcohol brain connection.

He was a life long drinker and that drinking is probably what caused his brain to turn on him.

This way of eating has helped us break our addiction.

His kids are all the time trying to push carbs on him. Yet, he doesn’t want them. I respect that. If he ever starts asking for complex carbs I’ll happily give him what he wants. For now, he is happy. Calm and happy.

Best results will be on a pure carnivore diet. We don't need anything in plants.

I don't really think do. Our bodies need protein, fats and carbs that is why they are called macro nutrients. Also regulating the nervous system will regulate blood sugar and insulin resistance by default. When the body is stuck in the stress response - fight or flight - it pulls sugar out of reserves so that you have the energy to fight or flight and dumps it into your blood and you use up a lot of nutrients leaving you deficient in a lot of vitamins and minerals So when the body is no longer on high alert all systems return to normal and your body can repair itself but only if you have the sufficient vitamins, minerals and amino acids

Our bodies only need protein and fat. We CAN metabolize glucose, but it is NOT required. Burning glucose is the reason so many people are fat and sick. =>Oxidative damage, free radicals.

Well vegetables are carbs so going on your thought process, eating vegetables make you fat and ill. Hmmm

And I would have thought that feeding your brain is an actual requirement

Starchy vegetables, sugar and seed oils are the real problem. A green bean isn't going to kill you.

Not sure what you mean about the brain. The body makes all the glucose the brain needs. You don't need to eat it. Besides, the brain prefers ketones.

Did you use topical DMSO? Or oral? Thank you!

Both. I don’t think oral helped him. Made him more confused. We tried it for about a week. The smell was awful. Maybe we didn’t give it enough time or maybe he was detoxing. This was early in our journey.

It ended up being a godsend for cuts and sores. It would literally heal them almost over night.

I used it for arthritis pain for a while. Worked very well. But the carnivore diet cured my arthritis so I don’t use it for that anymore.

What I do use it for is anal stricture and hemorrhoids. I make my own suppositories. Two percent DMSO with 98 percent cocoa butter. I put that into molds and freeze.

Takes it all away almost immediately! It also helps to heal all that. It’s truly a miracle.

I burned myself with hot grease last week. I immediately put 50/50 DMSO/Distilled water on it. To my amazement it never blistered, and the next day it was almost gone. Works well for sores, sprang, burns, and hemorrhoids.

I have some gel DMSO mixes, one mixed with water and the other mixed with aloe. I've used them on my sore knees and it has helped.

I gave some to a friend to put on his legs because he said they hurt so bad he couldn’t sleep at night. I told him I had something that would help. I mixed him up a 50/50 mixture dmso/distilled water. At first he said no thanks. He didn’t believe it would help. I told to do it anyways. I promised he would sleep. I told him how to use it. Told him to make sure the area was clean because that stuff will take whatever is on the skin with it. Then I sent him some more information via text.

He called me the next morning. He could believe it. He said they hurt so pain was gone almost immediately. He said I hope it continues to work. I assured him it would.

Poor man had been popping pills and nothing worked until the DMSO.

Thank you for sharing.

I've been taking 5mg of Lithium Orotate daily since coming across Dr. Michael Nehl's research on it uses against all manner of brain issues including Alzheimer’s, dementia and depression.
