First, when I add up Canada's reported excess death numbers from the OECD data, 2021 and 2022 both match the numbers you report, but 2020's data (pre-vax) on that site add up to 31,042 - almost double what you reported at 16,333, which would tend to undercut the premise of your reporting. Was the OECD data altered since you first reviewed it?
But, in support of your 16,333 excess deaths for 2020, the following canada.ca page (published Dec. 2021) does indeed report the same 16,333 excess deaths:

I can give you an exhaustive list of how Stats Can has misled for the last three years not the least of which is no longer publishing excess deaths by vaccination status as frankly the numbers are horrific or when they do publish the numbers they go all the way back to December 2020 when no one was vaccinated to show larger deaths rates in the vaccinated groups.
I suspect the OECD data is likely valid and posted by rank and file Govt of Canada employees that did not have orders to play games with the 2021 and 2022 data with the exception of 2020 that suddenly changed to up the number of deaths from what was previously posted by Stats Can as articles like this were previously posted that showed the Canadian Govt in an unfavorable light.

I always like verifying for myself ('trust but verify'), so I posted my (sincere) questions after a few minutes of digging and Internet searches. I had assumed there was some monkey business from Statcan, but wanted the author's take on the multiple discrepancies. You'd have to be brain-dead not to already know the mRNA "vaccines" are killing people like nothing else in human history. On a personal note, after being coerced by my employer through mandates, I myself was vaccine-injured after my first (and only!) shot. It was ten months of agony. If I'm going to present the author's data to my cool-aid drinking friends, I need to anticipate the kinds of retorts I presented in my initial post.
