Because that different sequence of nucleotides creates an entirely new protein, which may be more or less pathogenic than the Wuhan spike protein.
Furthermore, we still don't know how much spike protein is being made, how long it is being made, where it ends up, and how long it persists before being degraded or excreted.

Just had a friend hang up on me when I tried to explain what phizer had done in their studies and had attempted 75 years sealing their studies from the public. He got so upset, he hung up on me. All bc his microbiologist friend said the jabs were safe and had been used for 30 years already. When we first started talking I asked him what he thought of all the ppl who have been 3-4 times vaxed getting covid. He said well “there are variants like the flu so they have to keep Vaxing”. Ppl are seriously brain-washed and will not allow any discussion contrary to what they already believe. I guess bc he is triple vaxed too! His 37 year old healthy son is double vaxed and had covid in May and was very fatigued for a month. Now finally feeling good again. Also, he was told he had covid antibodies at 2500, when norm is .8. He was stunned by that too!!! I am, and wondering if anyone heard of these two phenomena???? I had tried to warn him before the 3rd jab, but he didn’t listen. He did ask me if I had covid this year? I said no, not since a mild case of omicron last Dec. He seemed to be surprised I haven’t had it this year, and knows I’m unjabbed, and he has had it 2x. I think he is finally connecting the dots, but unfortunately, with his diabetes 2 (that has worsened), back and now prostrate issue, he is on the downturn health wise.
