Taxes in Canada are even worse than the US, so I would say Canada is a communist country particularly with the censorship and surveillance bills that just passed.

We have a ‘homestead’ act that deducts $50,000 of the taxable value of your home for all property taxes. You apply for this deduction.
What is be my proposed and will be on the November ballot is the following:
* January 1, 2027, the homestead will increase to $150,000.
* January 1, 2028, the homestead will increase to $250,000.
These reductions DO NOT affect school taxes. So, no reduction in school taxes only other taxes.

So if taxes are actually illegal, then why have tax evaders ended up in jail rather than being justified and released by our Supreme Court.
