I'm not a paid subscriber, but this control over the food supply scenario was depicted vividly in the 1971 movie "Soylent Green." The difference being that in the movie, the world's population had outgrown the ability of the food producers to be able to feed the remaining people; while in the situation with the WEF, it is attempting to control the food supply by using dubious reasoning to shrink it. Dubious is indeed the word, because if there is any justification at all to prevent environmental catastrophe, it is to improve life for the earth's current and future population. You don't wreck the Earth's food supply to shrink the population to make the world's environment better for a fewer people. That justification is entirely selfish and immoral. It is the way pirates think. WEF have put themselves in a position to break Western Civilization for the benefit of the few of themselves and their serfs of choice to serve them. This path they are going down is an existential one for both we and the elites. Once they thoroughly break the Earth's means of production, at some point, they too will suffer. They only content themselves that with all their money, they will be among the last standing. Perhaps that is an overly optimistic assessment.
On the other hand, perhaps the intent isn't to permanently break the Netherlands farming industry but instead reduce it's productivity to get the Dutch farmers out of business and repurpose the land, and/or to reconstitute the farming industry under foreign or likely Chinese custodianship. Consider in America that large swaths of land are being purchased by Bill Gates and also the Chinese. America is also a major breadbasket of the world, but if the agricultural sector fails here, many nations around the world who currently import food from us could be pushed into starvation.
The reason to target food supplies is because when Devil Covid (Bossche Mutation) arrives -- and we are put into Shanghai style lockdowns (we will be begging for them...) the only food source that will be available is the delivery vans...
If all other supplies are gone - then nobody goes outside when the vans stop delivering.
Of course there will also be soldiers with shoot to kill orders on the streets - so people will just lie down and starve to death.
