This comes on the heels of two UN bodies publishing a report that outlines an agenda to decriminalise all ‘consensual’ sexual activity, even between adults and minors.
It's not a matter of "retracting" this but of getting rid of these pedo-driven socialist eco freaks writing their fantasies into law so they can save airfare to Thailand.
This is the introductory phase of the normalization/acceptance campaign. While soundly rejected now, it will be a part of the conversation, slowly advocated while newer, more outrageous suggestions will be made until this is normalized and accepted over about a ten year period.

So much whining. Get a grip and keep in the fight. You're doing exactly what they want you to do by accepting defeat before the battle is over. There are no places to run to, no holes to hide in, so you stand your ground and fight back. No other option.
What I do not understand is motivation...why are these global bodies so interested in sexualizing children and eliminating parental consent? What is in it for them? You missed the biggest reason, and they don't want to desexualize children, they want to hypersexualize them for their own use. You need to see only a handful of videos of former child sex slaves to know that the richest people in the world are also some of the most perverse, abusive and cruel people who've ever lived.
