The last five years have been mind blowing for sure. I was such a flag-waving patriot and now I realize a lot of my heroes were villains. Our government may be corrupt, but the people of the United States are wonderful. I see it every day. And when I feel particularly sad about the situation, I visit my daughter and hug my granddaughters. Keep your families close and safe. Focus on what we can do with and for them.
