I don't understand their apathy about this issue. Either they are trying to get to the bottom of it or they just don't care. They should at least let us know via a subscriber-wide e-mail that they acknowledge the problem, appreciate our having made them aware of it, and can or cannot fix it.

It's frustrating to read a good post and not be able to let the commenter know without having to post "Liked" and draw attention to my own name. It seems that I'm reading less and less as a result.

Both times I interacted with Substack support, I got the impression I was dealing with AI, not a real person.
Only some of us are unable to "like" comments.
There doesn't seem to be a common denominator...laptop or phone...Window/Mac/Chrome...internet provider.
