What the Hell!? Look at official definition of "privately held company" and it rules out being owned by a government entity. IRS, CIA, and FBI are each a “privately held company” “Privately Held Company is a company that is wholly owned by individuals or corporations." Who the Hell then legally "owns" the IRS, CIA and FBI? https://corporatefinanceinstitute.com/resources/knowledge/finance/privately-held-company/

Wowza. Loved the snapshots of the privatization, but don't love that this is currently how it is. Thanks for an excellent post.

As Elon Musk said, government is a corporation in the limit...with a monopoly on violence.

Years ago I read some on this set of topics and I found it confusing. That’s why I do appreciated this succinct article. One of the sub-topics related to this was the difference between being born in Washington D.C vs the rest of the country. Anyone know about that?

2nd - I asked, and you answered, short 'n sweet. That's it, The Cult. Thanks.

The Fed is also privately owned and controlled by the globalist central bankers.

Question: If the ownership field of an institution is not filled in, or it is not listed as a "public" (i.e. tradeable) company, does MANTA auto-populate it with "a privately held company"?

Love your writings and just wanted to say that they are critically important to understanding the world today. However, I'm a little bit at a loss on this one - didn't the Revenue Act of 1862 set up the "the office of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue" (as part of the Treasury Dept), and which then became today's IRS?

Without question, the other phenomena you mentioned are evidence of the existence of The Cult that hides in plain sight. Like Baudelaire famously wrote "the loveliest trick of the Devil is to persuade you that he does not exist!" when that Devil stands right in front of the people staring with the people staring right back https://genius.com/Charles-baudelaire-the-generous-gambler-annotated

Revenue Act of 1862 was a wartime measure. In 1894 the Wilson-Gorman Tariff Act attempted to impose direct unapportioned taxation during peacetime and was rightfully struck down by the SCOTUS the following year. In 1913 the 16th Amendment was ratified, though there is debate as to its legitimacy, and yet SCOTUS explicitly ruled that 16A did not grant the government any additional rights re: direct unapportioned taxation, thus maintaining that "income taxes" were illegal to collect. It took another war in WW2 to push the Victory Tax through, a temporary. capped and voluntary tax that was repealed 2 years later in 1944. From then on "income taxes" were still "voluntary", yet grew exponentially over time, such that we now have to be unlawfully subjected to the whims of the unconstitutional IRS and the penalty of "law" if one does not comply with "voluntary" taxes that were in essence repealed many decades ago. To this day the current iteration of the IRS was never created by an Act of Congress, and this unconstitutional agency subverts the fruits of We the People's labors in direct opposition of the Founding Fathers and the law of the land.
