Not owning a car is only possible in big cities like NYC where there is ample possibility of taking tramway, bus, train, metro. In most smaller towns, there is nothing of the kind. We here in small town GA even lost our bus station some years ago, so if you have no car, you get nowhere ! Big places like Atlanta, Chicago, LA just to name a few, might have Uber. I don't see them conquering small town America. And the crowded countries in Europe of course. Go to Brussels there is nowhere to park a car !

They will be herding everyone into their "smart cities" - stacking people on top of each other and making them dependent on UBI. Better keep that ESG score in good standing.
