Could it just be that Yeadon was talking beyond his expertise? My understanding is that his background is in small molecules, pharmacology and toxicology and not protein homology or virology. Obviously he has some knowledge of the latter, as would anyone operating in this sphere, but I would not say he is expert.
He’s definitely got stuff wrong before. I remember early on him saying there would not be a second wave of the virus, when it was clear from history that coronaviruses do indeed come in waves (witness the “Russian flu” of the 19th century). Unfortunately in this game, get one thing wrong and many will dismiss you rather than focus on all the stuff you get right. I think he’s tried his best to warn people and has got much right, some things wrong.
As for me, I reserve the right to listen to what everyone has to say, and take on board those bits I find plausible after doing my own reading. Nobody has got everything right about this whole scam.
Thanks so much for this post. It has helped me on a number of levels. Like so many of us I gave Yeardon credibility but could never work out why he would harp on about their being no virus when there obviously was. Now laid bear it has freed my mind from so many like him who would seek to discredit genuine people. I know he is only the head of the snake, but I am very aware now to read all odd sounding claims with renewed scepticism. I can’t thank you enough

If you look at the ACTUAL published science, they can’t even isolate viruses- never have.
But the quest to insult the humans and their creator ever further, they want you to believe that we incorporated the genius of invisible floating boogey-men, in order to survive.
