I tried to do that with a neighbor who had throat cancer and he was so sure his doctor was doing what he needed. Unfortunately that is the mindset of so many. He died of course mid-treatment. In mid-2022 a tumor formed in my upper arm and turned out to be cancerous. I said then that I would never do chemotherapy. One of my arrogant neighbors said, "That's what a lot of people say and then they do it." I lashed back that I'm not other people. Fortunately, it turned out that was never going to be an option for this particular type of cancer so I never had to have that fight with my oncologist.
