I just do not understand why everyone has not woken up - all they have to do is ask themselves, why at THIS LATE STAGE IN THE "PANDEMIC" (even if you believe there WAS a pandemic, one would have to acknowledge it's over now), is there such a fantastical hard push for these particular shots. Even if you believed in the shots, isn't it time to take a step back and wonder, even a little bit, why "they" are still pushing it? Is there any ounce of critical thinking remaining in people's heads?????
The people like that that I come across are of two general ilks. My brother and his family, whose wife is in the medical industry as a nurse practitioner, a cut below a "trusted" doctor. She's a hypochondriac to begin with, but the solution to every ailment, perceived or real, is some kind of prescription medication. He's had a successful career and knows everything, including everything about every career he's never had. He thinks that everything is a conspiracy "theory." He'd have to mentally rearrange his entire world view in order to accommodate it. Including why God isn't the one behind the massive genocide in Palestine, because after all, those people deserve it for daring to challenge Israel, even tho they're doing nothing. So that's not going to happen.
That's one type. The other type is the person that's simply too stupid for their own good. One such person is a very good longtime friend of mine who has outright stated to me after I tried to provide him some info, that he prefers the "ignorance is bliss" mode. No doubt until it's not blissful, but that's a different story. These people will listen to their mortal enemies until their dying breath. It's beyond reason.
Both involve cognitive dissonance to one extent or another, one for reasons of intellectual pride, the other due to intellectual shortcomings.
