So what? You have not offered any compelling reason why I should care. The US debt is worthless...we know the dollar is going to nosedive. Yes, China makes everything and they will continue to do so. Why would they stop? It would hurt them as much as it would hurt me. The occupation govt. in DC just sent $100 billion to Ukraine....most of that money is going back into the pockets of congress slimes who have invested in military stocks. Any war in Taiwan will just plunder more of American people. Maybe "you wrong?"
95% of the chips we use in EVERYTHING are made in Taiwan. Trump had plans going forward that would have changed that, but Biden cancelled them. China takes Taiwan, they will have us in an absolute economic and military stranglehold. And not just us, but our regional allies. Unlike Ukraine, where there is no prevailing interest for the US whatsoever and Ukrainian oligarchs are stealing 80% of what we send them (in both money AND weapons), the US has a major and abiding interest in protecting Taiwan. The Chinese take Taiwan, and we even lose the capacity to make the weapons we need to protect us and our interests. And they are most likely to invade or blockade Taiwan while Biden is president and right after Xi gets reaffirmed as CCP chairman in a couple of months. You think we have problems now? Let them take Taiwan, and cut us off from computer chips, and then watch the US economy COMPLETELY collapse.
China has never come close to 12 or 24 miles of Taiwan. Taiwan rhetoric is mostly to get its people to support massive tributes to its US MIC colonizers via arms purchases and to surrender its sovereignty in a trade agreement
