I do wonder if/when some people will realize that AI is just lines of code, as fallible as the folks who wrote it. Useful tool for some things, absolutely, but "intelligent"? Um, nope. But most excellent at turning a profit for those who could afford to invest bigly. The specter of a shambling AI/mRNA golem coming for us all is a bit unsettling, but oh, the profits! Weird, but my only hope there is that the circle jerk of AI and mRNA fizzles out, even if after the wealthy get the profits generated. But looks like Gates' nuclear reactor investment is really going to pay off, too. For those who wonder where all the electricity is going to come from. Profit bonanza.

Thanks for all this information, and thanks for the access to those "forbidden" medicines.

Great observations, but as to the nuclear reactor pipe dream, where’s all the silver required to create the cores, going to come from?

Not to mention the fact that mining is a dirty business that the miners have no interest in greening up. Um, doesn’t that go against Gates’ environmental conscience?

Is Gates' based on silver? There are other options - thorium comes to mind. We can recycle to get silver back, along with other critical metals.

Bwahahaha! Gates' conscience! He has turned away from climate change, milked that dry, so onward and upward. As far as silver is concerned, I do believe Trump is more interested in striking deals with other countries, including Russia, than in actual war, which, IMO, is just a cover of sorts. Russia is one of the world's top producers of silver.

Maybe…… but freezing Russian assets wasn’t a friendly thing to do. My guess is that Russia isn’t going to easily part with its silver to help America in turn , especially since silver is now a part of Russia’s central bank holdings.

But, they’re all ultimately in the same big club, so stranger things COULD happen, I suppose.

BTW, the comment about Gates’ conscience was pure sarcasm. That creature has no conscience.

I hope your are spot on with the December call. It is the only thing that will turn this ship around. We need a thundering crash so that productive 20 year old's can buy a house and have kids. etc.

If there is a thundering crash, it won't be 20 yr olds buying anything. It will be the big bankers, the ones you don't hear about with lots more money than we can imagine, scooping up assets. Devastating crashes are just that - devastating.

I concur, did a fair amount of research couple weeks ago on Data Centers.. We have 5400 currently and there are another thousand planned a couple of hundred are hyper scale units with 10,000 servers. The energy and water needs are off the charts… completely unsustainable .. Gates / Microsoft just chopped a hyper scale in development in half .. from 10,000 to 5000 in Arizona.. We are way overbuilt. Like you concluded way out over our skis on a triple black diamond. No happy ending here for AI investors…

Not an Enron. Perhaps a Cisco. There's probably more room to run in this casino.

Regarding employment - a friend is in the logistics/warehouse/delivery business. Hard to find workers... at least home grown ones who don't whine about no signs over the bathrooms. Immigrants are benefiting from the snobbishness - they don't stare at their phones while working. (See Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe for contrast to what college has done to some people's expectations for work.)

I'm seeing help wanted signs in some of the top 10 cities. Traveled interstate recently -- trains 2 miles long over several hours. Semis clogging the roads. Something is not adding up. So I keep observing and reading and try to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
