Thanks for the article.

It doesn't matter what the poll results are. In the eyes of those who really run the show you/we will be whatever they want us to be. Proof of that is that most times Trump opens his mouth, he contradicts himself. He likes to freelance so his programmers have to return him to the script.

Can you please change your poll question to read:

"Because this Substack's readership voted overwhelmingly against America's involvement in Iran, does that mean that 71% of its subscribers are Auntie Shem-itic?"

Sachs claims facts that only he seems to be aware of. If Iran doesn’t want a nuclear weapon why do they continue to work towards getting one? If Iran wants peace why do they continue to declare death to Israel and the United States. If Iran wants peace why did they arm and train Hamas and Hezbollah and the Houtiahs? The actual facts on the ground do not match the facts that Sachs spouts. Sachs is also an avowed globalist so he is not to be trusted to make statements in America best interests

They don't even have to work on a nuke, most of the BRICS nations can just give them one.

Tulsi Gabbard just 3 weeks ago wrote a report stating that Iran has no nukes.

Who really knows what the truth is? And that was in no small part the point of this article.

reality speaks's avatar

your right about that no one knows what the actual truth is. We have been lied into wars since Vietnam and I also fear that Trump was lied to by people he trusted just like he was lied to by Fauci during COVID. This is Trump real weakness as a leader not having the wisdom to know when he is being lied too.

They haven’t worked toward getting a nuclear weapon. They enriched to 60% to use as a bargaining chip in exchange for a reduction in sanctions. And this was actually on the table. But by itself, this level of enrichment does not equal a bomb. And if you believe Netanyahu that they have been just weeks away from producing a bomb for the last 34 years then why haven’t they? Sachs is no globalist but he does have a heart for the suffering of the Gazans. Is that a bad thing? Oh yeah, one more thing.(you really need to read more widely) Hamas is a creation of Mr Netanyahu. He has funded it from the start. Why? Because he opposes any two state solution to Israel’s predicament and Hamas acted as a backstop for those Israelis who might be tempted to take that direction. I don’t agree with David Sachs on everything but he is correct in his assessment that our foreign policy is absolutely controlled by Israel. The destruction of Iran was the last country on the infamous list referenced by Gen. Wesley Clark. Looks like we will complete their wish for the dissolution of Iran.

Then - Maybe put Mouth into gear. 'Striking' - Apparently, along with Bullying, ISN'T acceptable Socially, SOoo, what's changed for this protocol In ANY arena?

I appreciate your column, definitely more rich in content than most. I suggest reading “Ship Recked Crews’ “ recent column which covers the War Powers act Amendments after 9/11. It endures as an authorization for the President vis a vis terrorist nations that have threatened the US, like Iran through the decades, since 1976. Our President was acting under statutory authority from 2011 enduring ad infinitum for terrorist national defense.

I thoroughly understand your position and yet you have left things out. Iran has told Israel repeatedly that they intend to destroy them. They have referred to them as the little Satan and the US as the big Satan. They are of the Islamic sect that believes when the 12th Imam returns the world will have peace and Islam will reign supreme. All of their proxies feel the same way. Their expectation is he will return when the world is at war. They also believe they can hasten his return by provoking a world war. This is that same religion of peace that believes you can only be sure of going to paradise when you die if you are actively committing jihad in service to Allah, and then you get 70 virgins. The Muslims have a history with the Jews that goes all the way back to the book of Genesis where they both claim Abraham as their father. They split up on bad terms. (By contrast, Mohammad invented Islam in 600AD.) Israel has been attacked many times since it declared independence in May of 1948. I won't go into that history here, but God has miraculously given them victory after victory against their sworn enemies and each time it was their intent to wipe the Jews from the face of the earth. The Muslims have an everlasting demonic hatred for Israel. If you look at modern Israel's history, they have given up much for peace including Gaza and they were repaid by constant terror attacks, including the latest horror, the slaughter of 1200? innocent men, women and children in the most barbaric ways you can imagine on October 7th 2023. These people continue to hold DEAD bodies hostage in Gaza. They broke every agreement they have ever signed with Israel and like the Mullahs in Iran they lie, repeatedly. With a track record like that I do not fault Israel for refusing to believe they want peace. Are the Jews righteous? No, but like it or not God refers to the Jews as the apple of his eye. In the last days the Bible says every nation will turn against them and they will stand alone. It refers to those days as the time of Jacob's trouble, but they will be saved out of it. It does not matter what we think or what DJT does. God has already decided what the outcome will be. That time may be closer than you think. Get your Bible out and understand how to be saved. Get right with God because there are no excuses or do overs once you pass from this world into eternity.
