What you say is true, but if you take the "platform" virus of Covid 19 and change the main virus (assuming HIV was not the main virus) then you can lower the human immune system long enough to infect with H5N1. That is how I understand the next pandemic coming.

From what I've read HIV was used as well as varicella but I doubt any one person knows, plausible deniability.

My understanding is the COVID-19 has parts of AIDS in the virus and it lowers the immune system long enough to start a good infection for SARS, that portion could be most anything including H5N1. Obviously I am a layman, but it seems the bio weapon can deliver other payloads.
