Intellectually, I understand the futility, but I am still stuck on trying to get those around me who are in the Mass Formation Psychosis to see it. It's impossible.
Recently met up with old friends - two families. Felt obliged, as it had been a long time. They know my views and concerns, yet are hugely fixated on when they would be able to get their fourth shot, which they think they need because they keep catching Covid.
I laid it all out for them as best I could in a succinct three paragraph email afterwards with source info etc. It will have no effect, but it was worth it anyway as it has cleared my conscience, given that I left no room for ambiguity or misunderstanding. Irrespective of anything else, they can now never say they did not know. At best, they can say they chose not to listen.
I feel sorry for people who seem to be a glutton for punishment. They always seem to trust their enemies more than people who truly want the best for them. The red flag for me was when I heard a synthetic spike protein had been added to the mRNA jabs. I couldn't figure out how a synthetic protein in the vaccine would protect from or eliminate the one in the alleged natural virus.
Thank you for your comment, Mary. The synthetic spike protein was certainly a good line of inquiry. Good for you for following it. The one thing I have observed that seems to unite those stuck in the Mass Formation Psychosis is that they will not follow any serious lines of inquiry which conflict with what they already believe - not a single one. On some level, it makes sense, because any one of them ends with an avalanche of other questions that must then be pursued. As indicated above, intellectually, I understand much of what is at work here, but clearly, I am still not done with being baffled by it.
Yes, out of sheer hope, I too spent a lot of time clinging to that position. But, as you say, the evidence shows otherwise. Once I accepted that grim possibility, I was better able to remove the subjective 'hope' component from my analysis. From there the data became overwhelmingly clear in my eyes. I still hope I am wrong, but it is a hope I have little faith in.
I think I noticed in an earlier post that you live in AZ? If so, is there a way that I can extend an invitation to you for a luncheon that will take place this fall? You might find it interesting and you certainly would be able to contribute something to the conversation. We are hosting a radio personality who is reasonably well known and a higher order thinker than most.
So if the global death rate was the same…did we not actually see the excess deaths in the US as claimed? I understand the US is just one, but terribly unhealthy, country.
