Huang, CEO of NVidia. One of the largest, if not the largest market cap company in the world. Larger than Microsoft, Palintir, Meta, Oracle, GM, Johnson & Johnson, etc. How? How did a company best known for making video gaming chips that allow fast interfaces, processing multiple users, creating crisp, detailed graphics become the largest market capitalized corporation in the world?
Because ALL that data, ALL that AI data, surveillance cameras (not just the ones over street intersections, the Ring cameras in front of homes, anti-theft cameras in ceilings inside Walmarts, cameras given real-time silent running permissions by most all mobile smartphone user apps, laptop cameras, etc), imaging, linked databases, monetary, medical, you name it, all that data must be crunched into something useful. Capable of analyzing and displaying patterns in real time, from multiple users, crisply, detailed, pictures, images, life-like animated interfaces. That's what NVidia's products excel at, are best-of-breed. Why Trump restricted sales of their top chips to China.

I believe the social media platforms (even substack) are surveillance tools that collect and analyze data relative to the impact of the propaganda and information sharing so that the influencers and controlled opposition can be tweaked accordingly….so the pot doesn’t blow, so to speak.

About masking, plandemic "skeptics" being so adept at real science that our information we share is of the caliber and quality to be published in leading scientific magazines. I was reflecting today on how covid served to increase and facilitate dependence on technological systems at the same time that it shredded community connections.
Prior to the pandemic my neighborhood connected with barbecues, visits, real life exchanges…..that went away during COVID and has not returned. And the animosity and division fostered during COVID ensures that the community fabric will not be mended. Meanwhile, the digital life for all has been normalized.
I remember early in the pandemic when my friend discovered that John Hopkins and the government actually funded research on how to make people comply….including suggestions that shaming and bullying neighbors and friends, etc. was not only acceptable but desirable. She was horrified.

So true. According to a gym staffer at my gym, about 98% of gym members now routinely scan a QR from their phones to enter and exit the automated gym doors. I was one of the 2% who refused to go along with the brand new, high-tech doors. After complaining, and after missing a few months of my already paid-for gym membership, I was finally given a little fob (like a simpler key fob) to scan at the door ... which lower tech fob is preferable to the QR code on a "smart" phone (digital noose imho), which QR code might track soooo many other things at the gym, like which machines one chooses to use. And then even after leaving (!) the gym: Who knows where else and how far the QR code keeps tracking the user?
The good news: I refused to comply.
The bad news: 98% of members chose to comply with the QR code. Why? Convenience, following instructions, good little sheeple. Sad.
