I had Lyme for about 20 years, many problems, though only diagnosed finally with it in 2015 thanks to a friend in the US who worked in an alternative medicine clinic (I lived in Nova Scotia, Canada, where not a single doctor I consulted with over 15 years ever thought to mention, let alone test for Lyme). I tried a few things including acupuncture and Buhner protocol, both of which helped but didn't cure. A non-traditional daoist acupuncturist who has had success curing blindness, deafness and lameness had a crack at me and helped greatly but, unfortunately, he died before I had completed the third month. He uses long needles in unconventional points that create excruciating pain. So 50% better I moved to a beach town in Mexico when covid broke out two months later. I found daily sea-bathing helpful but in our town came many Italians every year, however when Covid hit there first in February 2020 there was a flood of them.
Sure enough, I came down with a wicked flu, my Mexican wife as well who has very different medical history and such. At that point I had already read about HCQ for covid, about a week or so before Trump mentioned it at a press conference and I went out and bought some giving my wife and I the acute dose which is 2000 mg over 2-3 days, with more the first 24 hours and less thereafter. I never in my life had such a good reaction to a medicine. Within 12 hours the flu symptoms, which were extremely intense, were entirely gone. For both of us. I later read about ivermectin with Covid. Oh - in both cases the mention of Lyme Disease came up viz HCQ and Ivermectin. So I have been taking both since 2020 as prophylactics and have never had any recurrence of Lyme symptoms as far as I can tell.
My two main symptoms were sleeplessness and brain fog or memory loss, and often problems walking, plus loss of strength. I am an average strength 6' guy and when playing golf with ladies a little older than myself they could frequently out drive me, even though I used to have a long drive even for men when young.
So I'm a believer. My most dramatic result was with HCQ. I've never taken anything before that could knock out a wicked flu in less than 12 hours. I got another flu a month later in April and went to buy more HCQ but it was now a controlled substance so I took Aralen which is just Chloroquine. The results were not as good but it appears from the intense eye pain involved that it was more likely dengue we got than covid. It took five days for the dengue to clear taking Aralen.
Now I take two 200mg HCQ a week and 18mg ivermectin (3 6mg pills) every 2 weeks based on a protocol I found on the net. Haven't had a flu in a while except when I went to London after had stopped taking them for a month or two beforehand because I don't like taking medicines forever. After that flu in London I now take it religiously. I do get allergies now, which I never did before, but am in a part of Mexico well known for that, so I take a little white pill for that every day otherwise don't sleep good. In any case, count me in as an Ivermectin believer. I have not found out if taking them both is a good or bad idea and since I don't know, I take both!
It is ridiculous that we cannot buy such medicines easily all over the world, moreover that governments make them controlled substances when there is a bad flu or whatever going around.
I also believe that Lyme treatment in the US has been hampered because of the USG's involvement in developing the toxic cocktail which combined swine flu with bacterial infections. Of course now it has morphed into many different things.
It may not only be ticks but also mosquitoes too, that are ravaging our health! I have struggled nearly two years with Skitter Syndrome and IVM seems to be the only thing that helped keep my skin from full blown Eczema! I’ve also started using DMSO diluted with sterile water to help with the healing of the skin. In use of this DMSO product, I also discovered that this aided with my muscle strains and the arthritis in my knuckles. This skin issue all started when severely attacked by mosquitoes…so I’m certain it may all have been parasite driven! Dermatologist were no help, except to push expensive drugs for unexplained Eczema. It was difficult finding skin creams and made my own!
I now use RENEW Eczema Relief by Melaleuca, to keep my skin hydrated now that it is better! I still have bumps under the skin from the knee down and work hard to not scratch! IVM seems to have cured the rest of my body, so I’m sticking with the parasite treatments! Epsom salt baths helped me with the outside as I rid the toxins, that come from the parasites die off!

Thanks for reminding me! Lyme is so debilitating.
What is the dosage for adding Doxycycline to a Lyme protocol? For people under 100lbs?
I use IVM for preventive maintenance ever 3 months.
I notice the viens in my arms bulge out and get a good energy boost with just one cycle.
