Brain fog, lethargy, headaches, muscle aches, are all symptoms of mitochondria damage. The spike damages mitochondria disrupting CREBS ATP production. Cells switch to Phosphorylation and your baseline glucose goes up in response. You may see lower lipid levels as well since cells have dificulty burning them.

To treat long covid symptoms and get energy back you need to increase the health and number of your mitochondria.

Here is an overview (many related papers):

K2 helps move calcium into the bone were it is needed and out of your arteries, 1st step spend a few hours doing your own research

VITAMIN D CAN MEND A BROKEN HEART

New research reveals microscopic medicinal effect the sunshine vitamin can have on sick cells

By William F. Supple, Jr.

July 1, 2020 Updated: July 1, 2020

First, the bad news.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the No. 1 cause of death worldwide.

The World Health Organization estimates that 17.9 million deaths per year are due to CVD—31 percent of all deaths. In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control attributed 647,000 deaths to CVD in 2019, accounting for 1 in 4 deaths—one every 37 seconds.

The major risk factors for CVD are high blood pressure, high LDL cholesterol, and smoking. Almost half of all Americans have at least one of these risk factors.

Now the good news.

Exciting new discoveries indicate that vitamin D can protect against CVD, and, quite amazingly, even reverse the damage to diseased cardiovascular tissue.

Vitamin D is readily available, cheap, safe, and plentiful. In fact, all we have to do is go outside on a sunny summer’s day to allow our skin to manufacture all we need. Fortunately, when there’s no sun available, there are safe and inexpensive vitamin D supplements to fill the need.

The problem is that many of us don’t get enough sun or take enough vitamin D to compensate. Many cross-sectional studies of the population have shown that Americans are vitamin D deficient—some severely so.

Furthermore, the National Health and Nutritional Examination Survey III (NHANES) found that vitamin D deficiencies are related to increased risk for hypertension, diabetes, hyperglyceridemia, and obesity. Other studies have found greater risk of stroke, heart attack, and all-cause cardiovascular mortality linked to lower vitamin D levels.

ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION

To understand CVD, we need to understand endothelial dysfunction.

The endothelium is a single layer of cells that line the interior surface of blood vessels. These cells are in direct contact with circulating blood and have dramatic effects on cardiovascular function.

This single layer of cells is really where the rubber meets the road with respect to CVD.

Healthy endothelial cells provide a smooth surface over which blood flows freely. The loss of proper endothelial cell function, which can occur in a variety of situations—most notably under conditions of oxidative stress—can lead to those cells becoming inflamed, rough, and sticky. Blood-borne fats (LDL cholesterols) and/or calcium adhere to the inflamed endothelium causing the narrowing of the blood vessels (atherosclerosis).

Endothelial dysfunction is a common denominator in diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and heart failure. Interestingly, these are the diseases associated with insufficient levels of vitamin D.

Because of a series of elegant experiments by Tadeusz Malinski and his colleagues at the Nanomedical Research Lab at Ohio University, we now know what constitutes healthy endothelial function at the level of the single endothelial cell. By using a nanosensor system, Malinski was able to record, in real-time, the molecular changes that occur in healthy and diseased endothelial cells.

Malinski found that healthy endothelial cells are characterized by a relatively greater production of nitric oxide (NO), a cytoprotective vasorelaxant, or substance that relaxes blood vessels and stimulates mucus production and enhanced blood flow. These healthy cells also produce relatively less of the cytotoxic vasoconstrictor, peroxynitrite, better known by its chemical formula ONOO. ONOO reduces blood flow by constricting blood vessels.

Cytotoxic substances cause cell damage or cell death.

In healthy blood vessels, concentrations of NO greatly outweigh those of ONOO. Dysfunctional endothelial cells demonstrate higher concentrations of ONOO.

This balance between the vasorelaxant nitric oxide (NO) and the vasoconstrictive peroxynitrite (ONOO) determines the health of the vascular endothelium. Not enough NO or too much ONOO spells trouble for cardiovascular health.

What determines the balance? You guessed it—vitamin D! Using the same nanosensor experimental setup, Malinski found that administering the active form of vitamin D (calcitriol) increased the concentrations of NO almost fourfold in the endothelial cell while keeping the concentration of cytotoxic ONOO at bay. NO is also a vasoprotectant, which means it protects blood vessels.

Remarkably, Malinski claims that his studies indicate that vitamin D treatment may be important in the “restoration of dysfunctional cardiac endothelium after heart ischemia, and capillary endothelium after brain ischemia.”

In other words, vitamin D could be a powerful agent to not only prevent various cardiovascular diseases from developing, but also in repairing the vascular damage following heart attack and stroke, as well as vascular damage caused by diabetes, hypertension, and atherosclerosis.

EXPERIMENTAL MODEL

Researchers try to find ways to recreate diseases symptoms so they can test cures. Researchers can apply Angiotensin-II (A-II) to healthy endothelial cells, to create an experimental model of dysfunctional endothelium. This model is similar to that observed in hypertension.

The model enables researchers to study treatments that affect the diseased endothelium. When researchers apply A-II, it creates the unhealthy balance of too much ONOO and too little NO. When Malinski applied vitamin D to this dysfunctional endothelial cell preparation, the NO–ONOO balance reverted back to that of healthy cells.

In other words, treatment with vitamin D restored levels of vasoprotective NO and reduced levels of vasodestructive ONOO. The effect of the vitamin D on reversing this disease state was dose-dependent and occurred within a few seconds.

The takeaway message from these studies is that vitamin D plays an important role in maintaining vascular health and preventing and treating vascular disease.

Even though Malinski’s experiments were done in a Petri dish on isolated human endothelial cells, the results are immediately applicable for several reasons.

First, there is a long history of observational reports showing a relationship between adequate levels of vitamin D and cardiovascular health. Previous studies have shown that vitamin D improves NO, modulates vascular tone, and lowers blood pressure in those with hypertension. Malinski’s studies reveal a molecular mechanism that could explain these beneficial effects.

Second, many of the antihypertensive drugs used today operate by adjusting the balance between vasoprotective and vasodestructive substances in endothelial cells, conceptually similar to what Malinski has shown vitamin D to do. However, in contrast to these pharmaceuticals, vitamin D—which is generated by sunlight on the skin—has no harmful side effects.

“There are not many, if any, known systems which can be used to restore cardiovascular endothelial cells which are already damaged, and Vitamin D can do it,” Malinski said. “This is a very inexpensive solution to repair the cardiovascular system. We don’t have to develop a new drug. We already have it.”

WHAT TO DO

You can take immediate steps to maintain your health in a safe and inexpensive manner by making sure you’re getting enough life-saving vitamin D. Consult with your doctor. If your doctor is not recommending much higher levels of vitamin D, 5000 IU to 8000 IU per day, they are not up to date. This is not abnormal. Clinical practice usually lags years (or even decades) behind available research.

It is a good idea to get your vitamin D levels tested. For most people, 50–100 ng/ml is a healthy level and should be achieved with sensible exposure to sunlight and supplements. If you are vitamin D deficient, and getting sunlight is a problem, supplement with vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) the most bioavailable form of vitamin D.

The simplest and most cost effective way of neutralizing these issues, at least in the unvaxxed for sure is give your immune system the fuel it needs and that starts with a high vitamin d level. During these biblical times of pestilence I walk around with a 100ng vitamin d level with copious many other nutrients and minerals.

It is very clear now that your vitamin d reserves are attacked by this spike protein and for that matter any disease or virus and stress as well. So long as your body has adequate reserves for your immune system to use as far as I am concerned there is absolutely no risk of death.

Now of course there are many unknowns still as this is a manmade virus, but Gods immune system is miraculous.

You must always take vitamin D with magnesium and vitamin K, I also take 3mg or boron with mine for better absorption. Boron adds about an extra 20% absorption rate.

In addition to the above I take 2 scoops of glycine, lysine, zinc, vitamin e, CoQ10 with PQQ, quercetin, bromelain, probiotic with Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains, an apoptogenic B complex formula, vitamin a, copper, resveratrol, kelp/iodine, selenium and 1500mg of vitamin c 3 times a day and one 1000mg slow release vitamin c, some D-ribose and dual action melatonin.

In a drink for work I add the 2 scoops of glycine with some vitamin c and electrolyte, just Mio for flavor with some lemon juice and lime juice to combat any chance of kidney stones and a scoop or two of the D-Ribose.

In the morning I take my vitamin d, magnesium, vitamin k and the CoQ10/pqq combo. Every day

A few hours later at work I take quercetin, zinc, bromelain. This is 3 times a week.

During work I add in the vitamin E, also 3 times a week, copper, 3 times a week, resveratrol 5 times a week, vitamin A 3 times a week and kelp and selenium 4 times a week.

At night I take my lysine and dual action melatonin.

I also take a dose of ivermectin once a week or every two weeks, depends on my interactions with the vaxxed and the light headed feeling.

Oh I almost forgot, I stopped my kidney medication over a year ago and take 1 milk thistle a day and 6 Astragalus.

Hope this is useful and helpful to some BUT absolutely get your vitamin d level checked and if you are below 30 ng absolutely get some 50,000iu pills and take for a week with magnesium and the Super K vitamin K formu7lation from Life Extension to bump up your reserves immediately.

If you are below 20ng I would do it for 2 weeks.

I always take everything with at least a little bit of food. Helps carry the pills down for one:)

P.S.- I used to take 4 scoops of glycine and 2 NAC a day but I ended up having these weird breathing issues when I exerted myself. I stopped the NAC and Glycine and it went away BUT it could also have been because I took Ivermectin. Still working on figuring this out but for now I have added back the 2 scoops of glycine and will soon add back 1 NAC a day.

Wow Gary! Copied your comment. I have been taking about 1/2 of the supplements you listed and 5000 to 10000 IU's of D3 daily for over a year as I live in Michigan and can't get much sunlight exposure in winter. I am going to add some of your protocol to my daily intake. I take 1200 mg of NAC daily, Quercetin (Japanese sophomore flower) 1000 mg, Zinc Picolinate 50 mg. , Liposomal Glutathione 1000 mg, Alpha Lipoic Acid w/ organic black pepper 680 mg, Tumeric/Curcumin complex 500 mg, Vit C 2000 mg, Vit K-2/MK-7 100 mcg, B COMPLEX, Magnesium (Chelated Lysinate Glycinate) 100 mg, and Liposomal Sulforaphane ( from broccoli seed extract) 450 mg.

I am unjabbed and un-PCR swabbed but have had C19 , as marked by the loss of smell/taste, strange metallic taste in mouth. I was getting sicker by day and by beginning of day 4 started Ivermectin and after 3 days...POOF!! GONE!! Back to normal. Taste/ smell completely regained after day 7. I have gleaned so much information from people like you who I owe thanks. Hi Michelle and thank you, glad and hope some of what I showed helps you. There is so much that we have been lied to about and things hidden from us.

Before the covid fraud I did not take a single supplement and then in the spring of 2020 I saw research showing all getting sick or dying were dangerously low in vitamin d. Which of course took me down the rabbit hole of nutrients.

I had my own confirmation about vitamin d from my own life. I have always been healthier than my wife and 2 boys and I know why now. Its because I am a truck driver and was always out in the sun.

Now sun alone is not good enough anymore on account of what evil has done to the world. Toxins are literally everywhere in our life, from food to cleaning supplies and I could go on and on.

But the sun part, Glyphosate, used in 75% of world crops and BPA's, micro plastics literally lower our vitamin d levels and Glyphosate also inhibits our skins ability to synthesize the UV rays to vitamin d. Pure evil.

Yours is a good list as well and I have picked up some of those things along the way but tried to keep the list short lmao.

I just read the following article yesterday, which was posted by epidemiologist Dr. Dmitry Katz on his Telegram. https://t.me/HOM3OSTASIS He advocates for high-dose niacin (and, recently, lactoferrin) as helping just about any illness. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9305637/ Evaluation of clinical relationship of serum niacin and dopamine levels in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome

"An important risk factor of FMS [Fibromyalgia Syndrome] causing altered DA [dopamine] levels in aberrant pain perception is nutritional factors, particularly niacin deficiency. Since niacin is a crucial vitamin of DA synthesis, changes of niacin levels can be considered in some rheumatological diseases, particularly in FMS leading to inadequate DA synthesis and, thereby, causing the major symptom of FMS, chronic widespread pain."

Gary McCollom's avatar

Thank you Christina we have come across the Niacin before but have not tried in a serious way yet. Just joined his channel and ty for that as well.

My wifes situation is complicated and we believe there is a good chance her pain is because of a migrating filshie clip as we have tried almost every 'cure' for fibro.

Then when one considers the vast majority of fibro sufferers are women it makes me wonder more if these women are suffering like my wife and or because of a foreign body reaction to the clip.

Expand full comment
Christina Crafts's avatar

I had to look up filshie clips, and learned what they are, and that they can "migrate" and cause various problems. Some of the sites mentioned women who had an x-ray or MRI to discover the location of the clip. Is having an x-ray or MRI a possibility for your wife, to see if the clip being in the wrong location could be causing or aggravating her pain?

At any rate, as I wrote previously, niacin seems to have a lot of health benefits and seems to help with many conditions, even just normal aging. Just be forewarned that Dr. Katz has been described as a bit eccentric. He's sometimes impatient with questions in his Telegram, and the recommended supplements besides niacin have changed pretty frequently, but in my opinion he's still worth following as he posts a lot of interesting and helpful cutting-edge health research.
