I watched a C-SPAN broadcast from a few years back where doctors were debating if it was safe to inject babies with multiple vaccines at once, in order to avoid parents becoming "vaccine hesitant" if the baby had side-effects that would cause parents to stop going back to the pediatrician. Without ANY research or data, it was deemed that injecting multiple vaccines into a baby's thigh was fine, because thighs are meatier than arms. Can't hate these people enough.

these shots are only given to newborns because Merck complained to the government that drug addicts and sex workers were not a dependable market and threatened to stop making the Hep B vaccines. government solved the problem by handing them the entire annual birth cohort.
if you inform the hospital that you do not want a Hep B shot and the hospital gives it to your baby anyway, ICAN (the Highwire/the great Aaron Siri) will fund your lawsuit against the hospital.

they used to give cats and dogs vaccines in the back of the neck but when the vaccines caused cancerous tumors, they could hardly amputate the animal's head! did they make the vaccines safer? no, that might bite into their profits. they simply moved the location of the injection to the leg. that way they can amputate the leg when the animal gets cancer and it will learn to manage with 3 legs. the important thing is not protecting the animal; the important thing is protecting the vaccine program at the EXPENSE of the animal.
no one should assume that they care more about your child than they do about your cat.
if you specify that you don't want the birth HepB shot and the hospital threatens you with CPS or gives the vaccine to your child anyway, ICAN will fund the great Aaron Siri in a lawsuit against the hospital. a few large payouts and this absurd practice will vanish.
