Trump's presidency showed that even if you get your people in office, the Left can use their deep-state apparatus to stymie any attempts at real reform, and that's assuming they don't just steal the election. I hope I'm wrong, but I am not optimistic that the midterms will change anything.
I'm not saying don't vote or don't move out of blue zones -- definitely move out of blue states if possible, and by all means vote and encourage other good people to vote -- I am just not optimistic that voting will really change anything. The rot is too deep at this point. I mean, I really hope I'm wrong, but people with great track records for accuracy over the past few years are saying pretty much the same thing, so it's not just me.
