The specialist she went to told her there would be 13 weeks of chemo & then, they'd see if it was gone. Following the 13 weeks, a tumor had spread to her brain & back. That one threw me for a loop! Her ack?! Unreal! They told the family that radiation would be used-- In the hospital waiting, she died--3 weeks ago at 48 yrs. old. I told my friend, after she told me about the 13 weeks of chemo, that I wouldn't hold out hope. Very sad--husband went to pieces & 2 young boys, to a therapist.
