'First, there’s the lateness of the hour. Any public health agency worthy of such a designation would have reached these conclusions two years ago.'

One thing I have failed to see addressed in this and similar articles that make this criticism is that those who want to believe in the mainstream narrative will grasp any straw in order to keep believing; therefore the mainstream will keep coming up with straws to offer, no matter how illogical or inaccurate.

As an example, true believers in the so-called vaccines, once it became abundantly clear that the injections prevented neither infection nor transmission, propped up their faith with the claim that the injections prevent more serious disease. My book group, comprised of mostly 60ish women, was exchanging emails as they succumbed one by one to infection; the subject of the email thread was "thank God for the vaccine."

So I fully expect the rationale for this CDC reversal to be that the "vaccines" have improved the global situation so much that the relaxation of strictures is now acceptable. That's not true, of course, but people grasping at straws will embrace it. And thanks to the "vaccines" there are so few unvaccinated people that we can stop viewing them as a threat.
