I completely reversed rheumatoid arthritis with a long fast. Your body can heal itself, if you give it the space and time it needs. My husband and I routinely fast 36 hours every week now. Neither of us have any health issues, and are very active approaching age 70.
I've done many 3 day fasts, liver cleanses, sauna, carb free-sugar free (still sugar free), nothing works for any length of time. I have however had heavy metal intoxication from coal plant flyash in USDA approved organic vegetables. They mix it in with fertilizer to boost plant growth, but it bioaccumulates in humans. Chelated it out, but still have some thallium which only leaves with high potassium intake. The original candida came from overuse of antibiotics. There don't seem to be any magic bullets for me, but I'll take easing of symptoms.
