Great, but those fruits and vegetables had better be organic or you'll be ingesting the glyphosate on most of them. Maybe RFK could do something about that??

And also, does he know the cost of the real food, especially for the Americans who lost their jobs due to bankruptcies of small companies and outsourcing of banks and corporates? Or those who just got their health insurance premiums raised, property taxes raised, car insurance raised, HOA raised?

What a joke! Needed a full year to TELL Americans to eat real food, LOL!

Bullshit! These fuckers don’t give a damn about you. I suggest you be your own doctor, until absolutely NECESSARY.

Ask me how I know.

You're absolutely right! Hubby & I learned to be our own doctor for 30+ years, reading everything about health and nutrition, holistic medicine and more. I'm 69 and hubby is 74, don't take RX drugs and we've never felt better! What the pharma companies and regular MD's do works against the body not for. All planned by Rockefeller since early 1900's.

Sharon I’m 62, and I’m on no medications (one for sleep when needed). I walk daily in Nature 5+ miles, intermittent fast, sunshine, clean food/water, no processed food, etc. No vaccines, no flu shot in my life!

I have cancer for the second time. Cancer is an imbalance in the body, and I know there’s a CURE!

You and your hubby are like me!

And don’t even get me going on the arrogance of some doctors! I only go to a doctor if absolutely necessary!

Believe it or not, I’m healthy🌞🕊️!

You keep doing what you’re doing!

Oh I know about the arrogance of some doctors. One time back in the 80's, before I knew what I know now, I had a bad sinus infection. I ended up with 4 different anti-biotics with the last one giving me a vaginal infection.

I was so angry I gave my doctor hell screaming at him that nothing he gave me worked!! Not long after that as I knew something was wrong with their allopathic system, I started looking into alternative/plant medicines how to heal/fix any health issues. I even had few UTI's, which I cured myself taking Nutraceutical supplements, colloidal silver, coconut oil, etc., in place of anti-biotics.

Since then, hubby & I stay away from allopathic doctors and hospitals as much as we can. No vaccines either. We also exercise daily, do intermittent fasting. We don't need to eat 3 meals a day either!

Good for you taking care of yourself the right way and staying healthy!

Three simple words - EAT REAL FOOD period. Been eating and preparing foods at home for years. Grow food in 2 greenhouses and raise chickens. Nothing like fresh eggs daily. Only buy grassfed, organic meats. This is how our grandparents (born in late 1890's) and those before ate as majority grew their own food.

I read her book The Big Fat Surprise. Excellent read.

The book is important and she has been indefatigable in arguing for a rational use of saturated fats in the diet. She is disappointed by the new Dietary Guidelines for reasons she gives in the source I cited.

In her X account (@bigfatsurprise) she retweeted a post by Zoe Harcombe--another hero in the movement for healthy foods-who says of Teicholz's work: "No one has worked longer or harder to make the US Dietary Guidelines evidence based--especially on fat.... I am gutted her efforts haven't paid off...."

And no, "indefatigable" was a completely unconscious pun. Pretty good one, though.

I'm certain it has a lot to do with keeping cholesterol rates down, when it's supposed to be high, reason for the 10% cap in the dietary guidelines.

We are not supposed to have low cholesterol levels, otherwise our bodies will make more to make up for it. Reason why so many have heart disease and no one should be taking statin drugs either.

Every Single Thing "they" recommended before RFK Jr. came along to break the Food Mafia and strong-arm the eedjot physicians into believing them was backwards. And why couldn't anyone with half a live brain cell left figure out that the human race evolved by eating meat, including SATURATED FATS??? DUUUH!!!

They were screaming loudly all over NPR today, crying and wailing that their beloved bagels and cream cheese and sugary individual flavored "healthy" yogurt cups, and "energy" and "protein" bars (translated: candy and cookies) no longer apprar at the top of the food pyramid-- 😩😫😭😭😭 WHAAAAAAH!!!

These people are so stupid. They should be excluded from polite society.

Imagine thinking some processed bread/bagel are GOOD for you.

Frankly, there seems little difference in the two compared dietary ingredients apart from the removal of bread and pasta from the Kennedy one. Seems similar amounts of vegetables, fruit, dairy, eggs, meat etc. It's also a matter of quantity.

Golly gee - the food pyramid! Like so many people were concerned about this - NOT!

Nobody gives a hoot about this nonsense. How can you pretend they are making great strides when all they do is blow hot air. This is pathetic.

The food ecosystem in the US is so clearly bullshit - Ketchup was considered a fruit.

It might be the most representative example that our country is in serious trouble.

11 servings of grains per day ffs.

You have to love that RFK Jr. has a sense of humor about all of this...

He posted the South Park clip about the food pyramid inverting on his X account. It's worth a couple seconds of your time.
