All ya gotta do is look at Stafford, TX.....the largest city in Texas. They have not had local property tax since 1995 and they did not do it by increasing sales tax. Here is an article about it. If they wanted to do it they could, if they don't want to do it they make excuses. https://eliminatepropertytax.com/2019/11/15/stafford-texas-a-city-without-property-tax/

I read KrisAnne's article on her website. She'd also posted it on "X." I loved every word and told her so.

Police and fire in Santa Rosa County, FL will be presenting on Sep 18th. The area chamber of commerce is sponsoring this talk. You can tell by the description that they're set to pull out every scary thing to frighten people into voting against the reduction in property taxes.

I want this unAmerican, repugnant tax eliminated altogether, but I'll definitely be voting for Amendment 3 in Florida in Nov.

BTW, in Florida, home renters -- I mean, "owners" -- pay a separate school tax based on the value of their home. The Amendment leaves that tax in place as is.

The school component of the property theft tax should be first to go.

Paid this tax (school tax) the entire time we "owned" our homes -- and we never had children.

I agree. Any demand such as this "polite" theft involving a risk to one's home must go. It must go!

If you read the Great Taking by David Webb, you’ll see how we have given up our legal right to our investments so that the banks have security for their trillions of derivatives. To prove this point, the state of Tennessee tried to remove the language in their state statutes that allow this, but the banks came in and said we will remove all banks from your state if you do. wake up everybody.

At the end of the article you say do not comply. Why don’t you offer suggestions how to not to comply and how to legally fight against the coming foreclosure? I’ve heard people talk about putting their property in a private trust via a land grant, but I don’t know how viable this is. I think we are already at the stage where we will own nothing and we’re supposed to be happy. We certainly don’t own any of our stocks and bonds in our retirement accounts or after tax accounts because we only have beneficial, the title and legal title has been given to the DTC and their Cede company. I don’t believe we own our vehicles either because we must pay our license.

It’s all been fraud for 150 years. Thats what needs to be addressed in a complete way and with a larger legal team to help everyone resolve it

This is mostly outside the realm of law and into the issue of pure power. If they truly loved the law and limited government then it wouldn’t have been forced on us through fraud and coercion for the past 150 years. A living man would just say this is fraud and have a judge say “obviously” and it would all be returned to him in a summary judgement

This is a whole Jacob and Esau situation we have here. Criminals stole our Constitutional and Common Law birthrights for great profit

Your domicile should be your safe haven for life! Not happening because affordability is disappearing. Eliminating RE taxes would go a long way to preventing deterioration of homes and property. It is a merry go round. The more people needing help means raising more taxes. Eliminate the root causes of the societal problems and maybe then we can survive as an enduring country. Gates has a solution! Remember a movie when you hit 47 you would go to heaven!

I liked that movie and have always liked science fiction movies, but it seems a lot of the science fiction movies could actually become reality.

Elimination of Property and Sales Tax

The Universal Tax on Money Movement (UTOMM)

A Structural Realignment of Public Finance

1. Property Tax: The Structural Problem

Property taxes function as a structural drag on the body politic. Beyond the disproportionate

financial burden they impose to fund public infrastructure, they inhibit long-term capital

formation, constrain creative development, and embed a perpetual lien risk capable of

dispossessing an entire family of a lifetime’s effort.

Because property taxes are imposed on ownership rather than liquidity, they attach a standing

obligation to an illiquid asset. The result is a recurring structural instability in homeownership,

business ownership and land stewardship.

To sustain this unnatural structure, government must maintain an extensive and costly

administrative apparatus: mass appraisal systems, formal protest proceedings, exemption

regimes, compliance audits, penalty frameworks, and foreclosure enforcement mechanisms. The

system is inherently evaluative and adversarial.

Taxation on property or sales becomes judgment.

2. The Structural Correction: UTOMM

The Universal Tax on Money Movement reverses this distortion.

Rather than taxing ownership, it applies a single, uniform levy to money in motion. Whenever

funds transfer between accounts—whether among individuals, businesses, or financial

institutions—a small, fixed-rate assessment is applied automatically at the transaction layer.

The tax is:

 Uniform

 Mechanical

 Non-discretionary

 Transparent

 System-level

Because the levy is universal, contribution scales naturally with economic throughput. Those

who move greater volumes of capital contribute proportionally more—not by policy targeting,

but by structural mathematics.

Ownership is not penalized.

Creative development is not constrained.

Savings are not taxed.

Unrealized gains are untouched.

The perpetual lien mechanism inherent in property taxation disappears.

Revenue becomes continuous and aligned with real economic activity.

Taxation becomes infrastructure.

3. Administrative Simplification

UTOMM eliminates the necessity for large-scale appraisal and enforcement bureaucracies.

No mass property valuations.

No annual protest pipeline.

No exemption classification arms race.

No escalating foreclosure machinery.

Collection occurs automatically at the transaction layer where modern commerce already records

economic activity.

Compliance becomes systemic rather than adversarial.

4. The Trickle-Up Allocation Model

UTOMM is not merely a change in tax base — it is a change in fiscal direction.

Revenue is retained first at the local level. Schools, emergency services, infrastructure, and

municipal obligations are funded directly from economic activity within the community.

Remaining revenue flows upward through predefined allocation tiers:

1. County

2. State

3. Federal

This trickle-up structure ensures:

 Local fiscal stability

 Reduced grant dependency

 Simplified intergovernmental transfers

 Alignment of higher-level funding with real economic throughput

Economic vitality at the base funds the structure above.

Not the reverse.

5. Governance Principle

Taxation should function as neutral civic infrastructure rather than as a discretionary instrument

of influence.

Systems based on valuation and classification expand the subjective and evaluative power of the

state. UTOMM removes this discretion by applying a uniform mechanical process at the transfer

layer.

The state no longer measures the citizen.

It maintains the framework within which voluntary exchange occurs.

6. Conclusion

By replacing property and sales taxation with a uniform levy on money movement, UTOMM

preserves capital formation, eliminates standing forfeiture risk, simplifies administration,

strengthens local autonomy, and realigns public finance with voluntary economic activity.

Taxation becomes mechanical.

Ownership becomes secure.

Economic development becomes organic.

Doctrine of Modern Revenue Alignment

In a modern economy characterized by digital settlement systems, instantaneous

monetary clearing, and integrated financial infrastructure, public revenue collection should

reflect the architecture through which economic activity actually flows. Taxation structured

around static asset appraisal and point-of-sale retail transactions belongs to an earlier

administrative era.

A uniform micro-levy on monetary settlement provides a contemporary alternative:

broad-based, low-rate, rules-driven, and automatically scalable with economic throughput.

By applying a minimal statutory rate across the full spectrum of monetary transfers within

the clearing system, the fiscal burden is distributed proportionally across participation

rather than concentrated on fixed property or consumption events.

Upon adoption of this modern revenue framework, property taxation and retail sales

taxation are eliminated. No household’s home or productive land remains subject to

annual appraisal-based levy. No retail transaction carries a visible surcharge at the point

of sale. Revenue is instead collected seamlessly within the financial settlement

architecture already sustaining commerce.

This model enhances predictability for institutional actors, preserves bond integrity for

public finance, and provides elastic revenue capacity for government without expanding

administrative enforcement structures. Rate adjustments, if required, occur transparently

within defined statutory bounds, applying uniformly across the system rather than

targeting specific sectors or constituencies.

The objective is structural alignment: fiscal participation proportional to economic

throughput, administrative simplicity reflective of modern systems, and the removal of

asset-based taxation that places concentrated stress on households and fixed capital. In

this manner, public finance evolves in harmony with contemporary economic reality while

safeguarding stability, equity, and long-term legitimacy.

... and that among these are Life, Liberty, (Property) and the pursuit of happiness. What is yours is yours. Jefferson didn't include that in the Declaration of Independence. Adams argued for it. What is yours is yours, and if it's not then someone has taken it. We now realize what has taken place in America. The gov't has taken what is yours. You retain it, only if you pay the gov't.

I don't know how we will fix this situation. It will likely only get worse going forward.

This is, for most folks, profoundly disturbing if taken seriously. The practical resolution, I believe, lies in recognizing the principle set forth in the Torah; the OT scriptures. God said, in effect, the land is mine. Period. I give to you and your family an allotment for your use or management. You may sell the use of your allotment BUT the allotment AUTOMATICALLY reverts to the possession of your family every 50th year as reckoned by my calendar. The closer a society comes to honoring this practice and its lmplications (and thereby honoring God) the more it stands in a position God can bless.

Of course the obstruction is pride and greed.
