This article has been updated with a disgusting clip of Harris denigrating Columbus Day.

That and maybe a fact check. I was under the impression she grew up in the most expensive neighborhood in Canada.

That's a good distance from Berkley.

She would do away with cash. Personal health freedoms. Your ability to make choices. Free market system. The Middle Class. Anyone white and not gay. Medical choices. All Police. The Constitution. Republicans. Medicaid. Freedom of Speech. Christians, or anyone not practicing Satanism. Two genders. Two gender bathrooms. Independent Journalism and basically all of America and eventually Planet earth.

It's on my phone Calendar because my settings are for American holidays. I cannot remove it, unless I remove the setting. Not taking off July 4, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, etc. Once Columbus Day is removed, which is next? My guess is Veterans Day or 4th of July. Pray for her to lose like Dukakis, Mondale and the rest. Because she is a loser!

The holocaust in NC proves how far our government has gone to sell out all of us. Greed, power, murder. Dead bodies bulldozed into the earth with the rest of the debris. That's all we are to the NWO...debris.

I WANNA KNOW WHO HAD THEIR DAMNED DIRTY FINGERS ON THOSE NEXRAD CONTROL BUTTONS AND WHO GAVE THEM THE ORDERS TO DESTROY THE SOUTHEAST. THEN I WANNA SEE THEM ROUNDED UP AND PUBLICLY HANGED.

It breaks my heart that the Jewish people have been persecuted all their lives. There must be so much hate and jealousy in the world and very little faith in God. My prayers get longer all the time. 🙏💯🇨🇦

Would she do away with the Constitution, is the bigger question.

Troll Hunter's avatar

Well, we already know what she thinks about the first amendment, with her cackling comment about how Elon had better mind his Ps and Q's or else he's going to lose his "privileges," meaning FREE SPEECH. This is the person who would be our president. She doesn't seem to know we even HAVE a Constitution.

Harris has already done her part to dismantle the southern border; she'll have no problem at all eliminating Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and the Fourth of July.

This administration checks every nook and cranny to spread racial division, not responsible behavior coming from the most powerful office on Earth. “What If” Columbus never landed and the United States never formed? There would most likely be a German flag on one end of the continent and a Japanese flag on the other today.

There are a few holidays that I consider complete B.S and can only be summed up by the phrase "Throwing the Dog a Bone" but in the main Holidays have very little true significance any more & the moral compass of the U.S is like a real compass sitting on a pile of iron. Columbus Day, Indigenous Peoples Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, even Independence Day (what a joke) can all be put on hold imo. We should all be working on these days to fix the mess were in and the 3 Branches should lead by example but the meaning of these days have mostly been lost & barely scratch the surface of most Americans grey matter. We are a fat, dumb, complacent society & I contend someone, some country is soon going to come along and slap the shit out of us for peeing in the gene pool.

Thank you for sharing your sentiments about the DIE rebranding of Columbus Day. So many people are unaware and accepting of the genocidal maniac portrait that was recently installed over the brave explorer led by his faith in God to seek The New World. You can thank a woke historian, Ken Davis whose book is about bashing Columbus https://youtu.be/oTrSIb7kMRM?si=_BsM8eTneU5zxvoz

However, the historical record supports none of these claims made by Davis and others. When Columbus arrived in 1492, he wrote very highly about the natives in his journal, such as in this notation on December 16, 1492: “They are the best people in the world and above all the gentlest.”

On Christmas Eve of that same year, Columbus wrote: “Your Highness may believe that in all the world there can be no better or gentler people . . . for a better people there cannot be on earth, and both people and land are in such quantity that I don’t know how to write it.”

On his return journey from his first voyage, Columbus wrote further about his relationship with the natives and how he treated them when trading goods.

“I forbade that they should be given things so worthless as pieces of broken crockery and broken glass, and lace points . . . it seemed to me wrong, and I forbade it, and I gave them a thousand good, pleasing things which I had brought, in order that they might be fond of us, and furthermore might become Christians and be inclined to the love and service of their Highnesses and of the whole Castilian nation (Spain).”

Not only does Davis fail to mention Columbus’s pleasant relationship with the Taino tribes, but he completely ignores the fact that Columbus saved those tribes from their mortal enemies, the Caribs.

The Caribs were also referred to as Canibs, from where we get our word cannibal.

As Columbus was preparing to sail back to Spain after his first successful voyage, the Santa Maria ran aground. He was forced to leave forty men behind at a settlement he named La Navidad on the Island of Haiti.

When he arrived at La Navidad on his second journey back almost ten months later, he discovered that every man had been killed and eaten by the Caribs. He also learned that the Caribs had attacked the Taino tribes and taken many women and children captive.

At the behest of the remaining Taino tribes, Columbus and his men set out for Carib lands to hunt those who had attacked his men and their Taino friends. Dr. Diego Alvarez Chanca, the chief physician on the second voyage, made the following report:

“These captive women told us that the Carribbee men use them with such cruelty as would scarcely be believed; and that they eat the children which they bear to them, only bringing up those which they have by their native wives. Such of their male enemies as they can take away alive, they bring here to their homes to make a feast of them, and those who are killed in battle, they eat up after the fighting is over . . . the habits of these Carribbees are beastly.”

Other eyewitness accounts from members of the voyage support the physician’s statements, but Davis and his media cronies ignore the actual facts of history by claiming the current story of Columbus is a watered-down “sanitized version.”

The truth is that Columbus saved the Taino tribe, who he befriended, from being wiped out by cannibals, but Davis and others conveniently ignore this fact. Columbus was once celebrated for his courage, tenacity, self-reliance, temperance, and firm faith in God.

This is why the left despises him and why we should continue to celebrate him as such today!

Well, considering that the jews conspired with the moslems to control most of Spain for hundreds of years, against the Christian majority, it wasn't exactly irrational for many of them to be kicked out of Spain after the Reconquista...Otherwise, I agree that Columbus Day is an American tradition, and anyone denigrating it is clearly anti-American...

Robin Landry's avatar

Not to rain on your holiday, but wasn’t Columbus a Jew and that’s why he set sail? I’m not trying to defend the indefensible Kamala but Columbus wasn’t a nice addition to any native population he encountered and he certainly wasn’t the first to find America.

I say we rename the holiday all human’s day and all debt is forgiven every leap year.

I don't care WHO the f**k you say you are, I AM S I C K A N D T I R E D OF g-ddamned "Identity Politics" and all the whining and screaming that goes with all of that--oh, and the "God likes MY people best" bullshit. CUT IT OUT. WE DON'T NEED IT because when you're constantly looking in the rear view mirror while driving forwards, well... only an IDIOT couldn't see where that winds up. UGH!!!

Why is there an issue with adding an Indigenous People’s Day to our calendar? Perhaps a day other than Columbus Day would be the best option. As Americans we must come to terms with the negative and positive of our past. Truth hidden becomes a cancer. Kamala is a ds puppet with a divisive and dangerous plan. Let’s work together to defeat the malevolent forces working to destroy our country! Recognizing our true history is necessary to heal ourselves and our country. 🇺🇸💖🇺🇸

The “prerogatives” issued to Cristobal Colón (aka Columbus) by the monarchs of Spain in 1492 purported to authorize him as “Admiral” of the “High Seas” to “discover and conquer”[dominate], and to “discover and subdue” [dominate] any “islands and mainlands” he was able to identify that had not been previously known to the monarchs of Castillo and Aragon-Leon, and to Christendom as a whole. Spanish crown law to this day traces back to that document of domination. The Vatican papal bulls modeled after contracts and commissions of the Roman Empire, and which serve as the theological-political context for western Christendom’s so-called “age of discovery,” are documents which , in two specific examples from 1493 (May 3rd and September 26th), call for the establishment of domination (“dominio”) where it had not been established by “Christian dominators” (“dominorum Christianorum”). The issues you so brilliantly write about oppose, in my view, what I call “the claim of a right of domination” (e.g., “vaccine” mandates, democide, etc.) which is analogous to the supposed “right of domination” that the U.S. has asserted against our Native nations and peoples since the USA was founded as the American empire. Both Harris and Trump have explicitly avowed their endorsement of what I call “the domination system” and “the claim of a right of domination.” As someone who has studied the Vatican papal bull documents of domination in Latin and English since the late 1980s, I must say that, regarding this subject matter, you may be missing the big picture of the domination code that, in some ways, seems comparable to the binary code of computer science. This insight enables me to complete your metonymy “don’t comply” with the more holistic statement “don’t comply with the false and invalid claim of a ‘right of domination’.”
