Excellent ideas, only it would have got in the way of the elite’s planned population cull of both World Wars.

I’ve often said that if the front lines had consisted of the Royals, bankers, politicians ie those with the most to lose then wars would have been over in minutes. It’s an abhorrent disgrace they turn up every year at remembrance events, when their ilk could have stopped the carnage immediately!!

Over here in the UK they dress it up as democracy against German autocracy, yet in WW1 over 90% of those who served and worked back here in the Armaments production didn’t have a vote!!

The bankers and politicians were the ones who instigated the war and kept it going in order to ruin Germany.

And they're the ones who should have died in the wars.

The vatican plays the most major role in all wars and particularly the jesuits who control and defend that seat off power. They are the ones who put the blame on anyone other than themselves and particularly the Jews. 1540 they began the offensive, the Counter REformation which has crippled the world ever since and done everything to keep all eyes off Rome....which had been fully exposed in the Protestant Reform. This is their long war and hopes of coming back from the brink. To start the Dark Ages again.

Another thoughtful post

Man needs to fill his heart with love of neighbor and God

Until that, more war

Merry Christmas

Great one today, 2SG, on a most appropriate day. How this makes me sad to know the barbaric 20th century and all the blood and death was a product of governments not of individuals. I am old now but By God I say NO MORE WARS. No more sending our young boys off as cannon fodder. Maybe DT will be able to keep us out of one, I don’t know but I have hope. WW1 is to me the saddest of wars, so unnecessary and laid the groundwork for WW2 and beyond.

The “Old Lie” indeed. Every war that occurred in last 200 years, at least, was a direct attack on humanity. They want to kill us all. Do not comply!

A most enlightening essay. if I still owned a set of encyclopedia, I would print it and tuck it next to the section on WW I.

"Joyeux Noel" is a great film from 2005 on the Christmas Truce. Thank you for the reminder... I'll dig it out of the collection & watch it today.

Hats' off to 2dSmartest Guy in the World for an outstanding essay on Socio-Cultural aspects of the Christmas truce of Dec. 2014 !!

I was aware of the truce from other sources but 2dSG is corrrect that it is rarely emphasized or even mentioned in many books or articles that should have since it was a significant event.

As a child, I had a complete set of "The Literary Digest History of the World War" so General Pershing, Clemenceau, Field Marshall von Mackenson were all familiar figures to me by High School but I don't recall reading about the Christmas truce there or if it was in there at all.

It is my belief that the depradations and Medical Fascism of the Covid-19 epidemic and the vaccines which many were induced or fooled into taking, have made all of us rethink modern institutions and who exploits whom for whose sake. The inevitable result is to start making changes, corrections....or indictments. The fun begins Jan. 20th !!

Thank you! I've heard this story a number of times, but not to this depth and degree. It's a touching story that needs to be spread far and wide. We now have the ability to communicate more quickly, and undermine the propaganda that seeks to foment discord.

I learned long ago when I first met people from the middle east that they sought the same as we do. Peace, family, a warm meal. We all bleed equally. We all love dearly. And I envied so many of their traditions.

I think it was the first time I wondered where our country went when I heard story after story of people being invited into homes for dinner over there. Did we have that here? How interesting it would be to learn more about world travelers or our neighbors.

That's the BS illusion that governments sell to the populace- that we would all fall into crazed, violent, anarchy if it was not for the very important government!!🤨🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yet example after example, throughout history, in various cultures show the complete opposite- we recognise our commonalities and naturally choose to pursue peacefulness.

But that inherent nature doesn't fund the war machine or let them hide their theft😉

Thank you for reminding us of this beautiful snippet of history. And to remind us of what men can achieve if not under the whip of the pathological “elites”.

“Many leaders of the Globalist Central Banking Cartel saw the new nationalistic Germany (since 1870–71) as a threat to their world trade, especially with Germany’s new navy”.

I fixed it for you. Merry Christmas!
