IVM has long been a treatment for rosacea. I’ve been prescribed soolantra for years which (I found out during covid) is topical ivermectin.

Would you purchase something called "PetLantra" if it were ever offered here? Hahaha I'm just planting seeds in 2SGs affiliates mind.

I'm wondering if it has any effect on Eczema. I'm observing any change in a family member that I've recommended PetMectin to.

I hope 2SG is listening: Could you please offer a topical Ivermectin one day...soon?

As an aside: Eliminating wheat from the diet eliminated the itch and therefore compelling urge to scratch and allowed the Eczema to heal! However, most people cannot commit to a life without wheat let alone gluten. Anybody interested in this topic should read "Wheat Belly" by Dr William Davis.

I did read recently that IVM is helpful for eczema. I can’t remember where I saw it, though. Might have even been this substack.

Knowing how difficult it is to get a doctor to prescribe IVM is it completely ok to use petmectin? Same for Petdazole (?) What is the recommended dosing and is that different from the IVM and Fenbendazole you get from a pharmacy?

These products are identical to what is prescribed.

Many Ivermectin & Fenbendazole products have various Trademark names (as well as every other drug sold OTC or otherwise, for that matter). Think Tylenol, for example, which is technically Acetaminophen.

What's most important is the active ingredient. "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." - Shakespeare ;)

https://www.drugs.com/paracetamol.html:

"Paracetamol is exactly the same drug as acetaminophen (Tylenol). Paracetamol is the drug's name assigned using the International Nonproprietary Name (INN) generic name system. Paracetamol is the name used for the drug in places such as Europe, Australia, New Zealand and India. Acetaminophen is the generic name assigned using the United States Adopted Names (USAN) system. Acetaminophen is the name used in countries such as the US, Canada and Japan. Usually the INN and USAN generic names for a drug are the same and don't differ between countries."

Question about ivermectin: I've taken it as a prophylactic off and on and each time I do, I have eye sensitivity to light, which increases with each additional day of dosing. When I stop taking it, the sensitivity goes away. Is this a known side effect of ivermectin? I've not seen anyone else mention it.

Expand full comment

That's what happens to me too. I alternate IVM and FenBen, and it only happens with the IVM. I had read it may cause some ocular side effects.

Wasn't it originally used to cure river blindness? It may be curing something in the eyes that you don't even realize you have. Just a wild guess...

Now that you mention it, I had lasik vision correction over 25 years ago, and a few months ago, my vision finally started to get a little blurry. Now, after 2 months of ivermectin, it seems to be a bit sharper. Maybe there really is something to your theory!

Expand full comment

That's very interesting. Keep a journal maybe with any changes? Has anybody noticed any change with regard to "floaters"?

Expand full comment

I've had floaters from time to time, but not since taking the ivermectin, so far. I'll be sure to make note of things like that may occur.

Amazing!

Could you please keep us updated and contribute to the series of Ivermectin Success Stories on this substack?

The only way I could truly know if its made a difference is to lie down on my back on the grass on a sunny blue sky day and relax my focus . If they're still there in the same numbers or have diminished I will know.

I'll try to keep you updated on that.

Your "Wild Guess" is better than what most trained doctors could conceive of. Although, I believe the river blindness was caused by a parasite that actually resided within the eye.

Good to know it's not just me! Was starting to worry.

I looked up ivermectin in the PDR and listed there was "abnormal eye sensation". This is what the FDA reports based on the clinical trials, that for IVM must have taken place in the 1950's sometime. I'm a retired nurse practitioner and fully behind IVM.

Good to know, thanks! I've always been ultra-sensitive to any type of medication I've had to take in the past such as an antibiotic or even NSAIDS. Fortunately, I'm in excellent health and the only meds I am taking are Ivermectin and Fenben as a prophylactic a few days a week.

Do you have any history of light sensitivity? Are you taking any other drugs concurrently? I'm curious to know why this side effect. I gather it is temporary and also not serious? Please be a bit more specific if you can. Thank you!

Expand full comment

No, I do not have a history of light sensitivity, although I do wear contacts on a regular basis with no discernible issues. And I am not on any medications.

I see. Does the photophobia resolve within hours, days? Vision back to normal and without long term negative effects?

Expand full comment

Resolves within hours. Vision itself doesn't seem to be affected, just the sensitivity issue.

Good to know. Thank you!

Interesting! We should not only list the benefits but also any side effects as well. Thanks for sharing. Curious to know, your sensitivity was to natural and artificial light?

Expand full comment

I've never been sensitive to light before taking IVM. It just occurs in the morning, when I first wake up and turn on a light. It just looks weird, kind of distorted and yellowish. Daylight looks normal, though. I don't take any anything else except some supplements- vitamin D, C, & K, fish oil, curcumin, & a multivitamin.

I decided not to take ivermectin for awhile, as I was using it more as a prophylactic than anything else, and the eye sensitivity went away. You could be right about the dosing, as I would notice the light sensitivity the day after taking it, and would get worse with each successive day of taking it. My dosage was low, however, but I only weigh 130 lbs so was taking 12 mgs. So I'm not throwing away my stash of ivermectin but I've switched to Fenben to take care of or prevent any parasites from affecting my health. And there is the anti-cancer benefit of Fenben as well. I have not had any issues whatsoever with the Fenben. As with any drug: not every drug is useful and/or harmless for every person. We are all built differently and need to find either the right dose for our bodies, or a different drug or supplement altogether. I hope you find what is right for you.

2 months ago my aunt found out that she has Stage 3.5 Ovarian cancer. As soon as we found out that she had the cancer, I came across your original article on Ivermectin and Fenbenzadole for treating cancer. I contacted her and she wasn't super excited about the protocol, but was open to taking it. My uncle has horses and other farm animals and he has the animal grade of Fenbenzadole. I had sent both of them Ivermectin during the pandemic that saved both of their lives, because they both got very bad cases of Covid. I had sent them the full protocol including nebulizers with budesonide, ect.

So, Aunt J started on the Ivermectin and Fenbenzadole, she also started on Chemo a few weeks later. Her cancer numbers at the beginning were 1500. She was having to go in every week to have 2 gallons of fluid taken off her abdomen. I just found out last week that she's no longer needing the fluid drained and her cancer number is now a 90!! We believe this is the Ivermectin and the Fenbenzadole that is helping her do so well. An hour ago, I sent this same protocol to a man that is near death from cancer, I'm hoping he gives it a shot.

Thanks for sharing this! We are hoping for a complete cure for Aunt J!

What is the dose of both that she was taking?

Gives me hope! I am taking off large quantities of fluid too from the peritoneum. I’m praying the fluid goes away. It sucks.

Where can I find more information about the Virex Health company that offers the fenbend and ivm? The website only has links to purchase and nothing about the company. I want to know I can trust the company.

Expand full comment

I would contact customer service. I trust them because I have seen results. I took a leap of faith as I've never tried Ivermectin (PetMectin). I will update the 2SG community on my experience with Fenbendazole (Petdazole) as soon as possible.

Thank you that's a great idea! I've been giving my Shih Tzu the fenben you get in packets as a powder but I need a pill form for her as she doesn't eat all of the powder sprinkled on her food. I just wanted to make sure this Fenben was pure and will help her Mast Cell cancer. 🙏🏼

Expand full comment

I totally understand your concern. I think that's a great idea, actually! Or, mix the powder within her water? In either case, it's good to have both forms in the medicine cabinet I'd imagine. For those who have trouble taking pills and vice versa.

But definitely address your concerns with the company. They're pretty responsive and should get back within a reasonable time frame. (I'm sure it's not a big time corporation with a full-time staff so be mindful and proceed accordingly with some patience.)

Please keep the community posted as to her condition. Best of luck!

It's identical to what you'd get anywhere else. PetMectin is a brand name.

Ivermectin has a very, very interesting history. Have you looked into it? Like seriously looked into it? I've spent many man hours deep-diving into this Wonder Drug.

A miracle from God to man!
