However there is something else going on here. If someone goes into a classroom and starts to shoot children they don't know, at what point does their brain say "OMG what am I doing?" I hate to describe it but the horror of what it must look like to execute a child must be overwhelming and the sickest in society would stop after a couple of kids because their brain would be so overwhelmed. The empathy that we all carry will not prevent the shooting of the first few kids as these people are not right, but something has been done to them where that empathy switch has been shut off. That switch should kick in even for sick people after the first couple of murders. Their brain can't handle what they are seeing and they would stop.
Most people expect others to think like them, it's only natural because it's really all we know. The people who are doing this are not governed by recognizable morals and principles that guide any decent thought, and we must stop comparing our ideology to theirs. They have nothing in common.
