When we sold our home in the old state, I told my spouse that there was no way I would agree to sell to any sort of investor/private equity. No matter the price. It had to be someone that was planning on living in the house. I refuse to participate in this nonsense.
This is a sad reality. I needed HVAC service recently. The same firm that installed my current A/C unit sent a 23 year old kid, who was entirely capable of doing the work. But his task we to train to other younger men how to do the work. They left trash for me to clean up and left an open screw hole in a duct, which is a leak.
