This amazing bacteria was found only on one Japanese island. How was it developed by scientists (chemists) to be so prolifically offered to so much of the world?
Ivermectin is derived from avermectin, which is produced by the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis. Avermectin itself is a complex molecule, and synthesizing it from simple starting materials would be a significant challenge. However, ivermectin is synthesized via modification of the naturally occurring avermectin. The basic synthetic process is as follows:
Fermentation: The bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis is fermented under specific conditions optimized for the production of avermectins. This is the biotechnological phase of the synthesis, where the bacteria produce the molecule as a part of their metabolic processes.
Isolation and Purification: After fermentation, the culture medium contains a mixture of avermectins. This mixture is then extracted and purified using various techniques like solvent extraction and chromatography. The major components isolated are avermectin B1a and B1b.
Chemical Modification: Ivermectin is produced by chemically modifying avermectin B1a and B1b. Specifically, a hydroxy group at the 22-position of these molecules is converted to a double bond, a process referred to as "olefinic" bond formation or "dehydroxylation." This can be achieved using various chemical reagents and conditions.
The resultant ivermectin consists of a mixture of at least 80% 22,23-dihydroavermectin B1a and up to 20% 22,23-dihydroavermectin B1b.
Hospitals, Pharmacies, Doctors & Nurses have been committing sanctioned mass murder. All willful NPC proxies of the beast system. They've gained the world but lost their soul.
