Labor Day is the most American of ALL the holidays! It's the only American Holiday Celebrated Worldwide everywhere BUT here on May 1st, commemorating those who gave their lives in the name of workers rights either gunned down or hung by the neck until dead by government henchmen in Chicago, Illinois.
Perhaps fascism is the dialectical synthesis of capital (employers - thesis) versus labor (employees - antithesis) rather than communism that Marx prophesied in his dialectical materialism. In spite of the fact that Mussolini hadn't introduced the "fascist" concept yet in the 1880s. It does appear that Grover Cleveland's September versus May 1st attempt to mollify the labor movement's disruption was inspired (financed) by the Railroad interests themselves - a distinctly fascist maneuver.
We're standing on the shoulders of those that complied with the unconstitutional declarations, mandates, legislation...They went along with it, and so here we are. Once these things are instituted, they will never be rescinded.
I'm glad I'm old because I see no good coming on the horizon. And do not comply as a senior citizen is interpreted as grumpy, difficult, needing to be corralled in.
