Hey 2SG! This is great news! Thank you for posting this.
On a different note, I noticed that you featured my comment about my dog Lucy on your April 22 stack.
I'd like to give an update to our story.....
Almost a year ago (May 26) we had to take our coonhound Lucy to emergency vet care. She would not eat, go for walks and did not want to even get up from laying down position. But SHE perked up at the hospital and was able to walk. After x-rays revealed her spleen was extremely enlarged and ready to burst, also many nodules in her stomach cavity. They wanted to put her down that evening. We declined and took her home. We immediately started her on ivermectin and fenbendazole, along with changing her diet. Organic grass fed ground beef, fried eggs and some very expensive holistic dry dog food. She had a little diarrhea issues which I believe was from diet switcheroo. That was resolved with OTC probiotic pills. I'm thrilled to report that Lucy is doing great (for an old gal) appetite is good and goes for 3-4 walks a day. She would go for more if we would take her (lol) I promised you an update so here it is!!! Thanks for all you do friend!😁
Good deal!! Just a word of caution!! Don't use ivermectin on cats!! I noticed my girl was becoming unable to jump up on her chair so I looked it up!! I should know better but I fell for my own "it's benign" inner speech!! What I read was, it's toxic to cats and the symptoms include muscle weakness!! I stopped it immediately and in a few days she was fine!!
That's wonderful! So glad Lucy had a second chance, including changing her diet which was the best thing you did along with IV and FB and it greatly helped her. The vets first choice was to put her down. Shame on them.
Thanks Sharon, yes shame on them.....I'm becoming very disillusioned with traditional veterinary care! As I am with our human health care system. We need to do better for ourselves and take matters into our own hands and for our beloved pets. It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$!
I absolutely agree with you. Lately, I've been reading articles by Holistic vets and they're now questioning the need for rabies shots. Another article stated getting rabies shots eventually kills ALL dogs. It also causes aggression, not surprised there. When I got my first beagle now 4 years old the first rabies shot, she had a reaction. Thankfully it was a mild reaction. Never again and I've stopped all vaccines since. Got her niece now 19 months old and no vaccines, just the core vaccines that is required by the breeder. ALL vaccines injure, cause chronic/autoimmune diseases, cancer in pets and humans. We don't need them. Reason why we have an immune system. And of course must eat good clean foods. I've been feeding my beagles a raw food diet buying grass-fed meats, wild canned salmon, fresh pasture raised eggs from our hens, coconut oil, including supplements, and more since they were 7 weeks old and they're very happy and healthy pups.
Totally agree with EVERYTHING you said! Especially about the frickin vaxxes. I've lost my last 3 dogs to cancer! I've seen so many dogs with tumors all over their bodies! It's becoming a normal part of pet ownership now!.... ridiculous....I don't remember this problem 50 years ago! It's ALL from the vax! Unfortunately rabies vax is required by law. And if you want to rescue a dog they have to be vaxxed up to the max, thereby ensuring you'll be spending a lot of money on veterinary care. What a racket eh?😡
Oh it's a racket alright and it makes me very angry. All done on purpose no doubt. Our last dog was Romeo, a yellow Lab. He passed away at 14 years in 2016. Since he was a pup, he was getting his shots and over time noticed some lumps. I didn't know it was from the vaccines. I let him pass away on his own as he didn't seem to be in any pain. He was always happy following us around. We buried him in our backyard. I've never had rescue dogs, just puppies from reputable breeders. Yes, rabies shots are required by law, but I don't give a damn. I do not want to harm my furbabies. I'm just glad the truth about vaccines is coming out more and more now. All vaccines should be banned.
Hi Dr Linda, good to see you here, to answer your question, I basically followed Joe tippens protocol and cut the dosing in half. Lucy is approximately 75lb so I give her 12mg ivermectin and 150mg fenbendazole and one OTC Walgreens probiotic pill....got to shove the pill down her throat (fenben and the probiotic) but she doesn't mind too much. The ivermectin pill is so small I just toss it into her food. So for 40lb dog ...maybe cut the dose in half? See you tomorrow on C&C!😁
Romeo oh Romeo! Sounds like he was a beautiful soul! From what I've heard, Labradors are very sensitive to vaxxes and tend to get alot of tumors. Usually lipomas. Usually benign but eventually kills them in the long run. Seems predominant in the floppy ear dog breeds. I've had 3 wolf German shepherd hybrids and none ever tumors or cancer. One got hit by a car at 6 months old, the other two of old age. They were the best dogs I've ever had and great with my kids ❤️ too!
I haven’t tried FLAV-X, but I have tried a different brand of allulose. It’s a great sweetener, very beneficial for blood glucose levels, and recommended by Dr. William Davis (start with his book “Undoctored”, then read “Super Gut”, and then read anything else he’s ever written). It tastes just like sugar and I understand it acts like sugar in cooking and baking (it browns, etc.). However, I would recommend taking it for a spin when you have nothing else planned for the day. It hits hard. 🧻🧻🧻 So start with a teaspoon in your morning coffee (for the love of Pete, don’t start at night) and see how it goes.
My Mom said the digestive tract eventually acclimates, though.

This was a great deal - thank you!
Oh Phooey!! I was gonna complain that it was the shortest sale I'd ever seen!!

The entire "western medicine" scam should be banned and then start from scratch!!
Would you mind sharing the dose particulars. I have a 12 year old 40 pound corgi beagle who could use a reboot. I just did a week IV reboot myself.

Oh I forgot to mention I skip one day a week on the fenben as per tippens protocol.

No problem!
Has anyone tried the FLAV-X? How is it as a sugar substitute?
