My son believes in doctors, who have either not helped him, put him on a list of drugs and drugs to counteract the side effects of the first drugs, give contrasting and even outlandish diagnoses, especially in hospitals. I remind him that even at best, some doctors got As in school, and some got Bs and Cs. I hope no Ds were let loose on us. Yes, I know that might not be the grading system. It is the concept I worry about.
It sometimes strikes me as strange that murders get investigated for years and years, money spent on manpower and investigative resources, TV shows abound -but dying in a hospital of anything at all is just oopsie! and then cause of death is presented as something entirely separate from what the hospital did.
