I have this inner disgust-recoil reaction every time I run into someone wearing one of these things. This is usually at the grocery store. Yesterday, I saw one of the younger employees there wearing it on his chin the entire time. My disgust-recoil reaction to this is WTF is wrong with people?
Burned into my mind is the image of the day my own sister stood less than 6 feet away from me, yelling "fuck you!!!!" at me through her mask, because I (being the only unvaccinated one in the bunch) was sitting in the living room, having a nice visit with our elderly parents.
As well, I will never forget HR at my office telling me that I alone, as the only stubbornly unvaccinated employee (though I should be grateful they didn't fire me for that?) would be required to mask up -- everyone else compliant with the urgings to jab has now earned the privilege of being able to go about their day mask-free in the common areas.
The whole time, knowing how absurd all of this was, and not being able to break through to any of them. Very twilight zone.
and I suppose the main thing, though, is that Fauci and quite a few of them knew this all the time, and this was all a big charade to them. Like they are gamers playing The Sims on the entire people of the world.
Me too! My next door neighbor in this apartment complex still wears her blue useless (even harmful) mask every time she walks down the hallway. At least recently she has stopped wearing it when taking out the trash to the dumpster. It is pitiful to see someone in such fear.
Is it fear? Really? Or is it infatuation with virtue and being owned? Because this shines through with so many, especially those who - now - still cling to the only bearing in their universe. Is it the feeling that finally someone sees them and takes care of them in their unhappiness and loneliness, by acknowledging and praising them for standing on the right circle on the floor?
I said that daily and still do...Twilight Zone! Piss plum ignorant plays over and over in my mind too! Along with can't fix stupid but can I duct tape it? Ugh...better not I'll get into trouble. 🥴

I have difficulty thinking back to how the majority of people believed what has now officially been put out as lies, while those of us that, while citing the quite obviously definitive research on the topic, were entirely castigated by almost everyone, including scads of people now claiming to be awake.
It certainly provides little hope for mass non-compliance for whatever the next thing that they're going to throw at us is, whether ideological or otherwise.
On a related note, I wonder what the situation would be like if people cared about the moral issues as much as they cared about their wealth and possessions.

Back in 2020, I thought I already understood how managers picked those to post as sentries outside their business; to protect their customers from us “maskless idiots,” so I was more interested in their own assessment of such an awesome responsibility. Rather than the begrudging; I don’t have that many options resignation, most seemed fully bought in like recipients of the Vulcan mind meld from Star Trek. Oddly, few seemed to have ever read a book in their life.
Have never once put on the face diaper. They tried to throw me out of grocery stores back in late 2020.... but it did not work. Even the police could not throw me out. They would not ring up my groceries either.. So I added it up pretty much in my head and laid a $100 bill down at the register and walked out. Not before taking a picture of the $100 left at the checkout register. This time around, if any human being tells me to put on a face diaper, they will get shot in the face. Its that simple. I am done screwing around. I always carry my nickel plated 38 special on me at all times. And am at the point, I just do not care anymore. Might as well go out with a bang! People have reached the precipices
Where do you live? Don't do that... just move... if you are in the USA just go rural. Lot of land out here and people's minds aren't destroyed yet. We didn't do that shit.
