I read this on the same day I listened to Martin Armstrong say in an interview that in all of his over 40 years of meeting with world leaders, Trump was the only one who told him, hey, I can't do it anymore, write these condolence letters to families of dead young men. He said I want these guys out of Afghanistan, this war is endless and what on earth could we do to help anyway??? Armstrong said even Thatcher, who he dearly loved, didn't mention the young guys, their families, their girls, the newborn babes who will never be raised by these brave young men.

This has nothing to do with Trump. Just humanity. If you are not moved by this, it is sad, very sad.

I've read to the end. Life. Nothing simple. It doesn't break my heart - different hearts, different things break them.

Incredible. Abso effing lutely incredible piece right there. Of course, I’m convinced it is Neurochemical, but nonetheless as real as human existence itself. To think our own experiences and imagination are the acme of it all is ludicrous.

OMG. Don't 'thank a vet'- most abhor this ingratiating bs.

Remember what the most decorated Marine from WW1 said...'war is a racket'- Smedley Butler.

And Jean-Paul Sartre - 'when the rich wage war, it is the poor who die.'

An amazing story repeated thousands of times by kids who were used, lied to and ignored IF they made it home.

This story is going to stick with me for a very long time. I especially connect with the philosophy of the brute. If I ever go back to doing theatre again, this will make one helluva play- raw, unapologetic, wise.
