Yesterday, in a federal court Dr. David M. Morens, 78, of Chester, Maryland, a former senior NIAID senior official, pled guilty to a conspiracy charge for willfully evading and obstructing Freedom of Information Act requests and the Federal Records Act in connection with communications about coronavirus gain-of-function (GOF) research grants.
Dr. Morens was concealing federal records throughout the PSYOP-19 scamdemic and running cover on behalf of his democide boss and partner-in-crime Dr. Fauci.

After an FBI investigation with our DOJ partners, Dr. Fauci’s associate, David Morens, just pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a scheme to avoid FOIA requests and the Federal Records Act connected to COVID-19 research grants.
The FBI uncovered that Morens, Co-Conspirator 1, Co-Conspirator 2, and others conspired during the COVID-19 pandemic to defraud the United States after the National Institutes of Health terminated Co-Conspirator 1’s grant.
NIH terminated the grant, “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence,” based on allegations that COVID-19 emerged from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan, China.
Mr. Morens and his co-conspirators then agreed in writing to intentionally hide their communications from public view by corresponding through Morens’s personal Gmail account rather than his official NIH email account.

“I learned from our FOIA lady here how to make emails disappear after I am FOIA’d, but before the search starts, so I think we are all safe. Plus I deleted most of those earlier emails after sending them to Gmail.”
After NIH terminated EcoHealth Alliance’s bat-coronavirus grant, which included a subaward to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, prosecutors say Morens and two co-conspirators agreed in writing to keep communications out of public view by using his personal Gmail instead of his official NIH account.
Co-Conspirator 1 and Company 1 have been widely identified as Dr. Peter Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance.
Daszak allegedly sent two bottles of wine to Morens’s Maryland home with a note thanking him for his “advice, support, and behind-the-scenes shenanigans.”
Morens replied on Gmail:
“Now I am actually going to have to do something to deserve it. Let me think.”
He then proposed writing a scientific commentary highlighting the importance of EcoHealth’s work. Prosecutors say this was the official act tied to the gratuity scheme: a journal piece advocating that COVID-19 had natural origins.
Weeks later, Daszak allegedly wrote:
“Consider this my phase II gift. Phase III might actually involve a meal – the Michelin-starred are opening in Paris, DC, and New York will do eventually!”
Later, after EcoHealth received a $7.5 million grant, Morens emailed:
“Ahem … do I get a kickback?”
Daszak replied:
“of course there’s a kick-back.”
Then added:
“I hope it doesn’t culminate in 5 years in Federal jail.”
Morens has now pleaded guilty to one conspiracy count encompassing both the records-concealment scheme and illegal gratuities. He faces up to five years in federal prison.
Daszak, who led EcoHealth Alliance, the organization that received NIAID funding and issued a subaward to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, has not been charged.
Thankfully, there now exists a decent possibility that Dr. Morens will turn on his former boss; to wit:
