Congress does not even have jurisdiction over truth in advertising.
In true free markets the truthful companies shine, and the bad ones go out of business. Of course, if a company sells poison, then they are prosecuted, but otherwise what is truth in supplementation? Look at the truth in FDA "approved" drugs that get pulled after years despite clearcut studies showing the FDA was merely aiding and abetting.

I eventually tracked down some NAC for my clotshot injured plus Covidinated friend - and bought it at $50 a bottle.
Checking on him a week or so later, Oh, he thinks that it's the NAC that's making him so helpless that he can't leave the house. That his legs don't work, that his tinnitus is driving him mad, that the pain in the back of his neck is stopping him from sleeping.
