Wow! A+ for having the guts to call Oct 7 what it really was! Why do people keep missing the point that started this conflict in the first place. Once the British and French Empires became the so-called "owners" of the land after the Ottoman Empire fell, the British and French Empires carved up the Middle East, and then they gave a portion of the land to the Jews. This video shows this. But somehow, when someone gives the deed to your house to someone else and they then have the right to push you out, you are supposed to just accept that someone stole the deed to your land, gave your house to someone else, and you just quietly accept that and walk away? That's the biggest problem that colonialization brings. It takes over land, divides the land, distorts the demographics, attempts to rule over it, and then sits back while the restless natives fight each other. They had no right to claim the land in the first place not to mention to divide it up and into parts and then give the parts away. This is not only a problem in the Middle East, it's a problem anywhere the colonizers decide they own land that belonged to someone else. It's the ravages of war, where the winner gets the spoils, even if it's your home, your land and/or your resources.
The plans for Greater Israel preceded October 7th. Israel needed the event.
If people still take Israel at its word for what happened on that date, then you're implying that Israel made these expansionist plans, plans for the the future of the entire country, and then left it up to their sworn enemy to determine if they'd be acted upon or not. If Hamas never attacked then those Greater Israel plans would still be collecting dust.
